I've just spoken to Munchkin who is running the competitions with us. Basically we are going to try to get as many teams as possible and then try to run a few divisions.
He said that we will probably be able to work some prizes and maybe even a trophy out if we get enough interest.
If you have any mates who have the game (whether they are members of the forum or not - they can always sign up) get them playing!
The more interest there is, the more leagues, competitions and games that we can run.

Okay the one decision we need to make is whether we want to run a World Club Championship tournament as a warm up (some NRL and some SL teams in a knockout) or an all SL teams knockout. Feedback is needed for this!

I think I would prefer a World Club Championship, I think it would be good to test against NRL sides. |

No problem.
If anyone else is reading this and wants to take place in a World Club Championship (in the next couple of weeks) please comment below. It will be a groupstage and then knockout competition including teams from both the Super League and the NRL. Teams will be drawn randomly. We have 14 people so far (assuming all of the SL players are playing - except Backrow Saint) but we can obviously accommodate quite a few more. |
