I'd also add you on the ps3, but ... the game is crap. Not played is since about a week after it came out.
Kicking is a joke too, Cunningham and Wilkin are our kickers. I've never even seen Cunningham try and kick the ball more than 5 yards! That said, goal kicking is a huge no no, just got to hit and hope when you're more than 10 yards to the side of the goals. You should be able to choose where you wish to place the ball if your players don't have the leg power, complete joke.'"
I actually thought the goal kicking system was the best so far in the RL games. HOWEVER, what the developers REALLY need to look at is the interface to EA's Rugby 2001. I know it's an old RU game, but the kicking system in that was top notch, better than any other system I've seen in a Rugby or American Football game.
It's the lack of balance that annoys me more than anything. I'd been trying to kick as close to the touch line as possible, with the wind (of over 20 mph or kph or whatever it is), and still getting nowhere near it, try it with NSW and it's straight out of play. Cripes, if I can kick the ball out on the full IRL, surely any Super League player could do it, never mind the "designated kickers"!
