In that "black" pop up box, there should be a list of players for the selected position. Choose the player you want for that position from here.

it has got the players but they are very very faint ( you have to really struggle to see them ) and it wont let me click on them ,cant understand it

As far as the faintness goes I can't help you there, it could be your browser settings or maybe your graphics card.

To select the desired player, click on the green cross next to there name/club/price.

Have logged on. Created a team name but can't pick any players or see any player lists.

When I click on "edit" under any of the positions nothing happens. I'm using Internet Explorer and have never experienced any problems last year.

Don't know where you are logged on but I've found that the same thing happens to me at work, while it all works perfectly at home. I'm guessing the IT at work has some settings which stop the tables being shown.

Which is a royal pain for last minute swaps. I'll just have to make sure I leave work in good time on Fridays!!

Check your firewall settings as it could stop some pop-ups.
