I have noticed that the fixture list posted a few weeks ago on the Panthers website contains a few discrepancies from the originally published fixtures. The main difference is that the Workington Town games appear to have been reversed, with the home game in April and the away game in June. There are also a couple of home games (Oldham in July, Hunslet in August) originally listed for Saturdays, but now shown as Sundays. The RFL site, and those of the opposing clubs, are [iall[/i still showing the original fixtures. Either the Panthers fixture list is wrong, or all of these other websites are being deplorably slow in updating their information. As I regularly travel across (from Belfast) for a few rugby league weekends each summer, and would particularly like to include Blackpool on the itinerary this year (having missed out last year), the sooner I can get the definitive information, the better. Can anyone help?

Your best port of call may be to contact Nick Settle via the official Panthers Facebook group. The actual website is updated infrequently and I wouldn't take anything from there as 100% sadly.

I wouldn't exactly say the Facebook page is updated with any degree of regularity either - this really is something the club needs to sort out if they are to be taken seriously.

T'interweb is the first port of call for info for the vast majority these days, they'd do well to recognise this.

It's poor that there is STILL no mention of the game v the Navy - has it occured to anyone that some of us might actually quite fancy this, despite the possible length of trip (as we're assuming it's in Portsmouth but no-one's actually confirmed this yet), as it's probably a one off for a Blackpool side to play there.

Then they wonder why we can barely muster 200 fans for our last home game.

Sorry if this sounds over-critical, but with the level of investment in the playing squad is going to count for bugger all if we can't get it right off the field as well.
