Blackpool Sea Eagles RLFC, now in their eighth year, will again be part of the Co-Operative Rugby League Conference, a competition that has continually grown since its inception in 1997 and this season will boast over 90 teams, split in 12 divisions stretching the length and breath of Great Britain. 2009 will see Blackpool as part of a new look North West Premier Division, combining the majority of the sides that composed last seasons North West & Cheshire leagues, whilst welcoming new addition Wigan Riversiders.

Pre season training is already underway and takes place every Wednesday at 7pm at Common Edge Road, South Shore with the club keen to attract new players to join them. Players must be aged 16 or over, but no prior rugby experience is necessary.
