| Have to agree, it's unfortunate but sport is a result based business, and ours this season have not been up to the mark.
Thanks for your efforts PC and CS and all the best for the future to you and your families.
Carl, we know you have the best interests of the club at heart, so let's see if you can find someone to get us back onto winning ways.

| Just out of interest , a quick question for Steve . Before any appointments are made , who would you install as coach given the choice?

| Sadly it's all gone very sour and as a result change was inevitable.
But Paul and Chris have been very good for this Club up to this season and that shouldn't be forgotten.
I (as others have done) wish them well for the challenges to come both in sport and in life.
Thanks for the good times guys.

| Good luck to Paul and Chris for the future, both from a rugby perspective and from a family perspective.
They have given a lot to this club both on and off the field.
Both appear genuinely good guys and the good guys in life deserve to succeed. Sometimes events conspire against the best.
Good luck for the future. I'll be watching your careers with interest and will be wishing you well whatever you do.

Get Brian Noble from London, he's only assisting there.
If we are to stay and compete in this diviaion we need to spend money.
And this is the best place to start. THE COACH otherwise we are just going backwards again.
Any club who doesn't spend in this division will be fighting to not go down.
Its nearly a 2nd super league division now and in a couple of seasons probably will be
when nearly all will be Full time clubs.

| I would like to add my thanks to PC and CS, for giving us a great season last year, for the majority of his time at the club Paul has given us a lot of pleasure and beating leigh last season will remain with me for many years to come. I hope now we can find a replacement quickly and try and salvage whats left of the season. Good look to both Paul and Chris and their families for the future.

| Hi Karlos
Well I am not sure exactly who is available, Noble would be a good shout from an experience point of view but has never coached outside SL so I am not sure how he would fair.
Other likely I would like to see in contention are people like Karl Harrison, Francis Cummings, I think John Kear could do an excellent job for us but he is with Batley atm so that rules it out.
I think we need someone with a proven track record at this level who can work within a tight budget and get the best out of what we have and get some team spirit back in the side...someone in the Tony Fisher mold would be a good shout, but I think coaches like Fish and Peter Roe have had there day now and we need a modern replacement.
Someone like Gary Thornton ex of Batley could also do a job.
I wouldnt be overjoyed if we took on Goulding I think he's a whole box of crazy waiting to explode.

That alone should make it an absolute non-starter.
(Although I can think of other reasons too).

Theres not much out there is there.
I think Noble would be too expensive for us and would want to spend some money.
I wouldn't want Karl Harrison either as his tactics always seem a bit negative and predictable.
Thornton did a great job at Batley, is he still in charge of the young uns at wakey?
I was trying to think of pros coming to the end of their careers who might want a first start in the coaching game.I would be happy with one of these instead of an experienced guy.
I just want someone who will sort out our defence and discipline first and then play some attractive rugby and get the lads to play 100% for the full 80.
Its a tough job for Carl and John this one and they have to make the right choice.
(Hope its not Goulding either as he will bring the water carrier with him and we had loads of run ins with him at Rochdale over the years!!)

| I do think Thornton could be an excellent call for a guy who has experience at our level.
