| Just spent the last few days in Salisbury looking for a decent pint, only to find that I missed the best pub by far, the Wyndham Arms

Yes I have stopped there, it's a Wetherspoon Lodge at the side of the river...The Kings Head Inn.
It was a bit scruffy and so were the rooms and the beer was variable.
A lovely building from outside.....but not one of Wethersoon's best inside.
Salisbury at night is like supping in a desert.....it's dreadful.

Pretty much a typical brown bitter but with no particular dominant flavour. Certainly not the best I've tasted from Marstons.
