Robinsons Cascade 4.8%, a dark golden coloured IPA. Aroma, malt and grain. Taste is malt, biscuit, toffee and citrus. Has a slightly dry finish. Quite pleasant.

Hogs Back Home Harvest Ale 4.0%, a best bitter. Pours clear amber. Aroma, hoppy. Taste is light malt, biscuit and berries. Slightly gassy. Not this brewery's best.

Wadworth JD Boss Hogg 4.7%, a golden ale. Pours clear golden. Aroma, oranges. Taste is hops, grains, citrus and spice. Didn't get the advertised malt and caramel. Strange and disappointing.

Theakston Old Peculiar 5.6%, an old ale. Pours deep brown. Aroma, fruit and nuts. Taste is roasted malts, fruit, nuts, caramel and spice. Decent when kept well.

Adnams Cashmere 4.7%, an IPA. Pours clear golden. Aroma, yeasty. Taste is hops, lemon and gooseberry. So, so far from my taste. Gooseberry must be the new Grapefruit.

| Came up short, 37 of 40, not helped by being poorly from last Thursday.
One disappointment .. on more than one occasion walking in and spotting the clip for an ale still required only to be told 'we have the pump clip but not the beer'. This happened in Warrington and Manchester. Somewhat frustrating!
