Wychwood King Goblin 6.0%, a strong ale. Pours clear amber. Roasted malt aroma. Taste is malt, bready, toffee and dark fruits. Nice and doesn't hit as a 6.0%.

Greene King Ruby Abbott 5.2%, a (ruby) red ale. Pours dark amber. Aroma, malt and dark fruits. Taste is malt, toffee & dark fruits. Feels like it's somewhere between Abbot and Abbot Reserve but ok.

Batemans Combined Harvest 4.4%, a pale ale. Pours dark golden and has a bready aroma. Taste is bready, cereal, oranges and lemons. Quite a reasonable / pleasant concoction.

Arkells 3B 4.0%, a best bitter. Pours clear amber. Aroma, malt and biscuit. Taste is malt, biscuit, caramel and dark fruits. Has a slightly dry finish.

Nut Brown 5.0%, self explanatory and pours mahogany coloured. Aroma, roasted malts. Taste is malt, caramel, toffee and nuts. Excellent!

Orkney Brodgar 4.4%, a Rye Ale. Pours clear amber. Aroma, rye. Taste is malt, fruit and rye. Normally a BIG fan of this brewery. This one is not for me ... it'll be the rye!

Butcombe Haka 4.5%, a golden ale. Aroma, melon. Taste is hoppy, grapefruit and melon with a little biscuit which complements the fruit nicely.

Mash Brewing Co. Challenger 4.8%, an IPA. Pours dark golden. Aroma, caramel and orange. Taste is malt, caramel and orange with some nuttiness. Very nice.

Daleside Grapefruit IPA 4.2%, a golden coloured fruit IPA. Aroma, subtle grapefruit. Taste is slightly yeasty, mainly grapefruit. Has a dry, slightly spiced finish.

Bath Gem Gold 4.1%, a golden ale. Aroma, subtle malt. Taste is hoppy, grassy with some malt and toffee. Preference will always be for Bath Gem which is a particular favourite.
