Nothing about this on workington's site and its not exactly something you'd keep under your hat is it? besides they signed peter lupton and resigned that stack bloke of theirs so find it hard to imagine them getting them both although I admit it would be scary for us if they did.

I was having a spin around the Super League websites yesterday to see if I could find any possible alternatives to Paul Cooke. I was struggling to come up with anyone who might realistically want to come to the Dons. I found a couple who might [iunrealistically[/i want to come!



After Chunskster's news, the situation looks even more encouraging. If a guy is prepared to make such a sacrifice to play for the mighty Dons we really should be prepared to back him.

im sorry but find it hard to believe that anybody would turn down superleague to play championship 1. unless weve offered silly money

I can only assume it is someone who has been here before or was born here and wants to represent the club before they retire? either that or they can make more money part time because of that riduculous rule about having no more than 20 players on over 20k (is that rule still in place in super league?)

The name I've had mentioned to me this morning is very interesting, would be one hell of a coup!
