Hi ,peeps well we have certainly come back to life on here re, "the team". I think there is some very well put and valid points above we (the fans ) need to see major changes from last years team, the maybe they will maybe they wont, "sign list" is not what we want to see. I think we all agree that we dont want to panic yet about new signings and some more "outstanding " players will come on board. As stated the majority of last years team with just a couple of new names will not be good enough to bring the fans flooding back. Keep the interest coming guys there,s fookall on telly. COYDS

Thought we would have announced all the returning players by now .

We need D F-Jones on board , do not know how long Matt Nicholson is out for but he was one of the stand out forwards last year along with Tonks, Castle & Milton .

Big names/big players with no heart for Donny and who get paid loads for playing, they wont get us promotion!.. It's the lads who train hard each week for nothing who need to have a chance.. The size of the pack is nothing, it's the strength and heart that matters.. The bigger they are the harder they fall

People on here say the problem has been we did not have any big name players ! As for big wages we fans do not know what wages the players are on .

Hope its not more bull****. Not sure a lot of fans including myself could cope with 2 or more seasons more in this league.

Not our business to know what they individually get paid but a lot of the players only get match terms and only get paid if they get picked to play, so they work hard for it! The the 'Big' names are not going to come and play for a Champ 1 side for the love of it and will always get picked, because of their name, so they don't have to work as hard.. See what I mean

I see what you mean , I think most clubs will have similar pay structures . Its upto the coach & his staff to manage it.

With 18 players signed (including one who may not play) I would expect another 6, maybe 7 signings.

I could see a couple more being from last season's squad but can't help thinking that unless the club is about to 'pull some rabbits out of hats' in terms of the strength and depth of the squad, we could struggle to replicate last season's top four finish.

Well Carl has hinted at overseas players & young players from SL clubs .

We cannot match the spending power of Toronto so it is all about the 2nd promotion spot AGAIN !

And they have just signed [Toronto that is] Richard Whiting.
As you say we can't match that i would think.
