THE LAD'S PRAYER Our Beer,Which Art In Barrels Hallowed Be Thy Drink. Thy Will Be Drunk At Home As It Is In The Pub Forgive Us Our Daily Spillage And Those Who Spill Against Us. Lead Us Not Into Wine Tasting, And Deliver Us From Alcopops. For Ours Is The Bitter,The Ale And The Lager Forever And Ever Barmen:

Quote: tigertot "While i was quaffing my post-work pints of Midnight Bell in 'Spoons on Friday night the manager came over with some photocopies of Viz 'Real Ale Tw*ts'. Very funny. I wonder who has a beard on here.'"

I have a beard, full and short at the moment, this could soon change as I usually shave on a whim after necking a few ales or even ciders I am currently half way down a bottle of Old Peculiar . Pass the gillette Michelle.

Came out and tripped over.
I have got a beautiful black eye.
I'll be the one at tomorrow's game with shades on.

I'm not one for drinking beer at home usually, but I got a few bottles in when the brother in law came over t'other day. As he was driving he left them to me, so I will be finishing off Black Sheep Square & Rigwelter while watching Rhinos & Bulls tonight.
I have George Michael stubble as a rule, but not a beard.

Don't forget it's the Beer Festival at the Hub next weekend. There's a CAMRA members night on the Thursday, with it open proper on Friday.

Quote: WANDERER "Best pint at the Weekend ... Leeds Brewery's Midnight Bell in the Prince of Wales near Leeds railway station.'"

Visited the PoW on Monday (as we had 40 mins to spare in Leeds on the way back from Blackpool) - it was closed. The barman in Spencers across the road said that he thought it had been open earlier but that it closes if they aren't taking much money!

The Scarbrough was open though ... pint of Bishops Finger please. icon_smile.gif

What about that for a result for us Real Ale drinkers. The clubhouse at Fylde RUFC had Landlord and Fylde Tackle (a local brew no doubt).
