I honestly don't think money has anything to do with Zac being given his release by the club , players at this level are not on huge contracts ,most will be on pay as you play or a sum that doesn't even cover their petrol expenses.

Zac looks to have left due to wanting more game time, which RH doesn't seem to want to give him.
Given the months loan of Bienek he doesn't see much game time on the horizon ,so he has decided to look at other options ,which is a shame as I think he will sign for another club and come back and embarrass us as a number of lads have done previously.

Players want to play regularly, no one can blame them for that.

Every club needs to have a squad that's big enough to cover injuries though. And that means some players don't get picked as regularly as they'd like. This is a perennial problem for all lower league clubs, not just the Dons. Would a second team help? Maybe, but I still suspect players would want to play at the highest possible level.

I wish Zac well as he always gave 100% for us.

Yes I agree we can’t afford to lose anymore home games as it’s all very close. I have to admit it’s getting harder every year it L1 so we do need to get out of it as soon as we can
