Not wanting to pick out Hedges I wonder if he really is a scrum half , sure I read he played full back in Australia . Tom Carr is another problem for me his defensive work is poor .

The players have to take some responsibility for their discipline , we had penalties again for answering back never mind the foul play .Ball retention was poor , the attacking options were poor. All in all another bad day at the office.

Echo what everyone says poor discipline. Dull game. Only a few players that actually looked interested and it's always the same few. Something seems to be going very wrong there was a lot of on field arguing and naming no names a tantrum being thrown near the dugout in front of fans. Not good to see.
At least it's only Leeds next week....

To be fair to the player who threw the teddy out of the cot , I think he was upset about being substituted . It must be a very frustrating time for the players as well as the fans but they can do something about it . Where are the leaders ?

As GT said to me when I questioned him about discipline at half time, he said some thing like they are on the pitch not me .

We haven't moved on since the Keighley away game ,no plan B. Plan A is not working .

Someone needs to take control of the situation .

Hate to think what the crowd will be at the next home game , I would not blame any fan for not wanting to watch the poor rugby we are serving up.

What he shouldn't have done was name call his teammate that replaced him infront of people that could hear him. Leaders were out there and were giving everything just couldn't do it alone. It was just an awful

Leeds will probably be my last game until something's changed, and i would not have gone to that, had i not got my ticket before the Toronto game.
Just fed up now of all the bull/ we have been getting fed over the last 2 yrs, and not improving
one iota, these players should be better than this.
It was a good decision not to buy a season ticket this year i can please myself without
throwing any money away.

GT will take the flack but the player recruitment comes from higher up so the buck has to stop with CH surely ? CH is well liked (and respected) but maybe he should hold his hands up and take his share of the blame ?
The basic policy needs a re think imo with the money wasted on old men better invested in the youth. Keeping the kids will always be a problem but made easier if the future for them looks brighter. It can't do much for the younger kid's egos to see old men playing at their expense.

Carl has always said that the coach has total control of player recruitment. If that's correct, then GT is the man who is responsible. What we don't know is whether he was given a fair budget or not. He may have done a good job with next to no money, or he could have done a bad job if he had as much cash as the Barrow boss.

These are issues we can only make guesses about.

What we do know is that collectively the club haven't got things right. Quite where the blame lies is more difficult to tell.

The consequence is that the longer the problem persists, the harder it becomes to dig yourself out of the hole. Fans will be less likely to buy season tickets next season, or attend matches this season, it'll become harder to sell the game to sponsors and corporate businesses, and the income streams will drop.

Whatever the playing budget is for this year, it's likely to be less for next year unless investment is found from elsewhere.

As a group, Dons fans are used to tough times but I think the one thing we want see above all else is that the club appears to be moving in the right direction. We're not... and we're all rightly concerned.

Carl Hall doesn't do the coaching on how to play and instil discipline.
I'll tell you now these players would look twice as good if Cookey was coaching them.
Its the younger ones who aren't coming on, Hedges has not improved or looked like
he's going too since he got here.
One exception is Crossy but that's down to his natural talent
not GT.
we can't even do the simple things like backing up for one.
All down to coaching and the instructions that are given so nothing to do with CH on the pitch.

Dons 11 I didn't hear the substituted player say anything about another player . With regard to the leaders on the pitch I beg to differ .
We have fans who turned up at York to support their team, they all care , I do not enjoy having to shout about the discipline .
At least GT admitted in his reply to me that we have a discipline problem . CH has not admitted that in the numerous times the question has been asked . He did say he did not condone abuse of officials .

Onedon , you are 100% correct CH does not do the coaching . Would you accept carl also has to take some responsibility about our current situation .

Yes if he was the one who appointed the coach.
SO then, also club Doncaster has too they're in charge of everything.
Everything else we don't know about ie getting players in or
who picks them to come to the club, they've always said GT has a free riegn and picks who he wants.
But that the other thing everyone is getting fed up of, its all top secret, we don't know what's right or not,
its worse than MI5.

Updating the website, giving the fans updates on team selection and availability, interviews from in the dugout and after match reaction from our coach it all just seems one big chore! Where's the passion and drive? seems the players are looking for the coach to lift them, the coach is looking for carl to lift him, and carl is wanting the crowd to lift the players!

Time for a mass sacking ....
Thornton, Howden, Hedges, Heil,Thackray, Aizue, Muranka and anyone else tossing it off should go right now.
Two decent half
Backs and two decent props bought immediately ... I don't care where from ... and the usual excuses for not signing mid season should not be accepted. Oh and a quality coach brought in , one who played as an attacker in his playing days.

York were well drilled and had obviously done their homework.
Where we were sat you could hear the players talking at the scrum. Every time it looked like Tali was going to get the ball it was called by at least four players and they moved up quickly to prevent him building up a head of steam.
After the game one of the York players was talking to a supporter and he said they knew if they could stop the bigger Doncaster forwards and Tali they were in with a chance. He also said at half time the coach had called our left edge a weakness to attack.
The worrying thing for me was that when plan A was failing for us we couldn't adapt to a plan B. York had an initial game plan that they stuck to which was then altered at half time to give them the best opportunity of succeeding. I wonder what was said at half time to the Don's players.
