| Wilfully stupid ...
We couldn't set up a try against 11 men and they could against 13.
Fair play to Hunslet, we couldn't hack it against that physicality.
OK they were dirty gits, but they sorted us out.
Newcastle lost to Coventry, so that's them as good or bad as we are.
Worky and Oldham won easily.
We are third rate after all.
I'm not buying into this shoite any more of optimism.
England were gonna duff Wales up and Donny were gonna duff Hunslet up and the two sides with most balls won.
End of.
One shoite weekend.

| Angry as I am (and I need to hold my tongue), the officials failed in their duty of care.

| They don't give a fook.
Anything for a quiet life.
What experience of thuggery and brutality have these schoolboys experienced?

| we were beaten by an pathetic excuse for a referee,,, a team of thugs,,,and our lack of ability to score tries against 11 thugs that were still on the field of play. I saw the pic of howdens head, if this is what thornton and his team of over aggressive thugs call rugby league then god help us.

| Yes, I saw a picture too. Looked pretty nasty.
I know it’s a tough game and I take my hat off to anyone who’s prepared to step onto a pitch for our entertainment but this looks more like a mugging.
Got to question how much protection our players got today from the officials.

Personally as far as I am concerned the lack of adherence by the officials to the duty of care they have towards the players on the pitch is misconduct.
As per the RFL website all complaints of alleged misconduct should be made to enquiries@rfl.co.uk
I lost count of the amount of facials going on that the touch judge wandered on to the field for, had a look and then decided to let it carry on.
At one point in the first half Miloudi was punched in the head with no punishment being metered out to the puncher.
Last I checked as per RFL rules any punch with a closed fist is a yellow and any to the head is a red.
As many have said it is one thing for the officials to be poor - we expect that in this league.
But what I cannot stomach and what I have been seeing for a number of years now culminating in today is the blatant lack of care towards the health and safety of the players by the officials.
The game is tough enough when played fair and clean players should not have to take to the pitch having to worry about thuggery too.

| Very disappointing result . Enough said about the referee ,It would be ironic If Ryan Dixon was the only player to pick up a ban.

| just one of the worst officiating of a game i have ever seen, there should have been sin binnings in the 1st half,
A blatent punch to Miloudis head just went unpunished.
totally disgusted at the refereeing, i went with about 2 mins to go when 18-16 , i'd had enough of
watching the village idiot, he had just given them a penalty
when we should have had one.
now wish we'd took the 2 kicks for the penalties we got although
our disallowed try looked turning out in the tackle with 3 on top of him.

| We got bullied and beaten up that is for sure. The injuries to KK and JH took some of the organization out of us in what was a pretty clueless second half. If that is the brand of rugby league that Thornton coaches then its the end of player safety out on the field.

| Thornton is entirely responsible for what happened today. Sadly he'll be lauded for it rather than castigated. His side won so its job done. Couldn't be more glad we got rid though.

Their whole approach was a throw back to the seventies.

I've sent an email to the following address enquiries@rfl.co.uk
Just politely enquired as to how to report a referee for misconduct. Please feel free to do the same
