You called it carp last time ... I just knew there was something fishy about it.
Why don't you tell us what you think instead of posting one liners?
You know ... your opinion.
That is what this forum is for ... opinions ... and a few, very few facts.

Yep, it's a tough league and I'm sure that won't be the only result that'll raise a few eyebrows this season.
It's good to have a competitive league where fewer outcomes can be taken for granted. I suspect our season will be defined by how well we do when faced with hard games on our travels.

Many of my friends don't post on here because they feel the negativity drags them down.

| Its lively on here Not sure that calling out the Coach to be an idiot is the wisest comment you have posted SO.
I was concerned yesterday in the first half with our lack of go forward and not playing with speed. Perhaps we (players and fans underestimated NWC) they looked good and will be annoyed that they did not take their chances. I thought we put them to bed during that second half blitz, when we sped up (Litten is good at that) and the defence went up a notch especially in their 20. Couple of silly silly penalties did not help and you cannot give free yardage like that at any level of the game. Look we are not a surprise package anymore and being at the top you will always have a target on your back, other sides will be aware we like to play at pace and if they slow us down at the POB and pinch defensive yardage it is to be expected. Refs job, although I lost count (as much has he did) the amount of times he failed to police the ten yards.
I agree with Bonaire that the Coach is trying different combos and that showed somewhat yesterday especially in the first half when we looked at times a little disjointed. We simply cannot expect to blow other teams away, there is no God given right to do that and the early games have maybe left us feeling a bit spoilt (pleasant change I must admit)
Look we must be doing something right or York would never have celebrated like they did post match. Speaks volumes IMO.
This League this year is a belter.

Can't you see saying everything is brilliant and kissing the feet of Richard, carl and club Doncaster is equally as damaging as the negative brigade? on the plus side we haven't been at our best yet sit top but there still are major cracks that need to be addressed and sorted. The doom and gloom gang have a go at the happy clappers and the happy clappers have a go at the doom and gloom gang that's what forums are all about and it happens on nearly every forum up and down the country, I personally think both sets of the pint half full/half empty fans have valid points but us doom and gloomers take it on the chin better and don't hide just because we didn't hear something we don't like!

My friends don't want to come on here and get embroiled in all that goes on. For them, it doesn't make supporting the club a better experience, so they stay away. They look occasionally but they tell me it generally reassures them they were right to stay away. I do my best to get others involved but I can't.
I enjoy listening to everyone's views and opinions, even if I don't always share those views. I'm prepared to fight my corner but that's not most people's cup of tea, especially those who are reasonably happy with their lot. And to quote one friend from this morning, "We're top of the league and you'd think we were bottom. Richard Horne deserves more respect."

And some credit. The bloke is in his first full year of coaching for Christ's sake.

| A good win against a team who will cause a few shocks in the league this year.
Our poor discipline and lack luster offence need adressing quickly.
We need another big horrible prop in my opinion as our forwards dont seem to be able to get stuck into our opposition and put us on the front foot.
I wasn't impressed by Scott ,Boyle or Maranka who failed to make inroads into an aggressive NWC defence.
With no Zac in the side I assumed an injury ,but that wasn't the case and I feel we missed his hard direct running today.
I think he is our best go forward man and after a poor game against Newcastle carried the ball well against York so was surprised at his omission.
The same for Miller and Howden who I could see sat in the stand behind the dug out , both said they were fit but had not been selected.
I am happy we are top of the league, and i know that we are heavily reliant on Hull with regards to the dual reg , but other than Miloudi have we seen any class better than what we have?
I fear an injury crisis at Hull

I said in an earlier post that Rich Horne is trying different combinations particularly against some of the lower teams which also gives him the opportunity of resting players who would normally be classed as first team.
You obviously have your opinion of the Hull Loan/D/R lads but you forget most are very young players.Litten has just played 60 minutes for Hulls first team against Wakefield and played very well,Jordan Lane played the full 80 minutes at St Helens and was in the team for the previous two out of three games.Downs and Jack Logan both have first team experience so to say they not any class better than what you have is nonsense.
These lads are what will get Doncaster promoted and the more game time they get together with Doncaster the class will show through.
I understand its frustrating to see a player in one week and out the next but once Hulls mini injury crisis settles down the more of a settled 4/5 Hull lads you will be able to field.

| For me Jez Litten was a cut above everyone yesterday and really got us going forwards. Every time there was a late retreat he was off and ate up the yards with ease. He would have had my vote for MOM.
Miloudi is an attacking creator and Owen a defensive organiser. We look stronger defensively when Owen is at the back and stronger offensively when Miloudi has the ball in hand off the back of go forward created by the likes of Litten. There was less talk from the back than usual yesterday and they could have exposed us a number of times on our right edge. I genuinely feel that wouldn't have happened if Owen had been at FB.
I thought Connor Scott and Osborne showed up well in the front row and Boyle lacked some match fitness, but his hits were all meaningful as they always are.
Brad England plays like that week in and week out and for me is our most consistent player. One of those who does the work and just gets on with things. The yellow card at the end was the reason I would have given Litten the MOM over him.
Jordie Hedges was very good again and why he didn't start over Muranka I will never understand. Having said that I thought Muranka had a decent game yesterday and probably the best I've seen him play.
I believe the yellow card was a symptom of the shocking officiating at this level but that's a whole other subject.
It was two more points and we are top of the league. Leeds won Super League last year winning ugly and grinding out results. Personally I would prefer games like the CC Newcastle game but the two points are what matters.
Already looking forward to next Sunday COYD!!!!

I don't think that DM does see everything through rose coloured glasses but like him I like to see balanced comments reflecting the bad areas but also praising the good ones. It didn't take the Jonahs long to revert to type and post the totally negative comments

You can see why the Hull fans rate Litten, given better weather and firm pitches he will be a real asset. I have been really impressed with Howden and he would be my starting 6, seems to have a calmness and authority for such a young bloke. Can we take it that the scan on his hip showed all clear.
