Remember the playing budget has only got to be £1 over the previous record budget for the club to have another record budget , some players was offered better deals elsewhere but wanted to be part of something big re promises that was never kept . Amen

I'm curious, what promises which haven't been kept were made to these players ?

I haven't heard of any promises being broken, each player who signed on knew what they were getting and for a lot that would be relying on wins to make it financially attractive .

Whether there was a promise of quality signings meaning a greater potential for win bonus then I honeslty do t know.

The club are coming in for a lot of stick, a lot of it is unfair, if they believed in the squad we had which is the nucleus of last season and to reward some of those financially with better deals to stay then fine, I believe that the budget is significantly higher than previously, the key question is are there any funds in reserve, whilst win bonuses have increased significantly , most players receive no payment unless they play. This suggest there may be scope to bring in some new faces, only a guess.

Let's stick together as fans and support the lads on the field who aren't losing on purpose, collectively we lack confidence which leads to a lack of cohesion and poor decision making.

I am no Rovers fan but I firmly believe their ownership is the best thing that could've happened long term, I hope I ain't wrong . I support another yorkshire team and therefore to stick up for them may appear strange but I believe they have major plans for us or why invest at all.

My hope is that if the owners are following the Rovers model so to speak, Paul Dickov was allowed to strengthen where he thought it best when the squad he initially had proved to be lacking in some key areas. If we (The Dons) are allowed to do the same then we touch wood could be okay. Call it a guess or just my opinion but the Club has to do something because the next two home games could tip some fans completely over the edge.

Everyone at the club must be aware that whatever needs to be done must be done to dig us out of the hole we're in.

Going down would be extremely bad news all round and I would hope that we're going to see some positive action to help put this problem right sooner rather than later.

Even at this stage in the season, time isn't on our side. We can't see where our first win is coming from, never mind getting above the other relegation candidates in the league table.

We need to play out of our skin against Batley and hope the first win may come. It really is important that everyone gives the lads their support because encouragement from us will help.

Sounds to me like he's blaming the wrong people.

Club doncaster have turned a once rogue win at all costs paul cooke into a tame yes man, i dont want to blame everything on our partnership but it does seem his hands are a little tied
