The atmosphere was really good and it was great to see so many Leigh fans make the trip. Many of our games have had next to no away fans. A bit of friendly banter adds certainly adds to the atmosphere.

We got what i didn't really expect today.
But we just deserved it on that last 15 minute effort we put in to keep leigh out who pressed really hard.

Superb battling performance today. Never stopped in the last 15 minutes. What was Emmett thinking at the death though?! We thought that was it then the luck we have had closing games out over the years then Crookesy going full length gives you one of those celebrations that lasts long in the memory!

Everyone has mentioned Snitch and Wilko and they were the ones who stood out but all 17 were excellent today especially in the second half.

Also well done to Jacob Miller.Thought he played well today. With him I think its just a confidence thing and a performance like that today will do him no harm at all.

Also as a foot note it was good to get a good choir turnout today. Its the first time in a while we have all been there at the same match.Well done lads!

What a win superb second half. I did say get the ball to crookes,Hodson 2 apiece no substitute for pace! Snitch was outstanding,as we're the other 16.wilko was as shocked as me that he got MOM. But well done,Miller was good today!

Well done Donny I must say Charlie didn't expect that , ive been saying all along we would get beaten this season and now it has happened , its a fact we at Leigh will re-group and press on again on Saturday , I really hope you finish in 2nd spot at the end of the season , you have now played well in the 2 games against us this season , good luck for the rest off the games .Charlie .

Cant fault the effort.

TBH I think we could have made it more comfortable had we had a bit more ideas around the try line, just looked a bit unsure.

Wilko has flashes of brilliance and flashes of what the hell.... I think time spent on his mental state may be worthwhile. He needs to crack on if things don't go right, seems to dwell on it a bit, likewise have the confidence to back himself because when he does he is devastating.

All played well, Snitch, Kez and Robbo had massive games, and despite the usually silly things from Mike, he did get under Leigh's skin.

Finally I have been critical of Miller and TBH I don't think he was anything special today but he did improve and certainly put body on line.... but for Christ sake lad get some proper studs and ditch the pointless flash boots which have soles of glass...

I just think we looked that bit keener and surprisingly fitter in the last 20 mins....

I hope the guys get a bonus if we finish 2nd because even at 2k a piece it still pays for itself 10 times over...

As for us finishing 2nd it will take some luck from other games i think, plus we need to win all our remaining games i think to have a chance.
