I contacted Carl Hall and he referred me to Shaun Lockwood who is the Communications Manager at the Rovers/Dons.
Shaun said that he would be happy to respond to questions/suggestions posted on this thread.
Although Shaun prefers face to face fans forums as his preferred vehicle for fan/club interactions.
So let's see how it goes.

3) Car Park issues. The consensus seems to be that the club is missing out on revenue by charging so much and more current supporters would like to use it if it was sensibly priced. Greater overall income could possibly be gained if an initiative such as parking + programme for £3 was introduced. This issue could also be a reason why new people won't attend and why old supporters won't come back.
4) Publicity of games
i think as points 4 & 5 are concerned. I would be willing to put posters up round my area in shops etc advertising games.
I did it last year with a few of the posters of fixture lists that Ray had done.

Disappointing to see that up to Friday (didn't pass it Saturday) the board near to the Tattersfield site wasn't advertising today's game.
It did advertise the pre-Season friendlies.

Been to the car boot sale at the Keepmoat this morning paid a £1 for the car park I was given a car park ticket which had he Rovers fixtures printed on the front nothing was printed on the back of the ticket so may be they could put the Dons fixtures on the rear of the car park ticket.
I parked there for two hours yet this afternoon the car park charges increase to £3 for the same car park for the same length of time how does the club justify a 300% increase?

Do you mean don't go to the car boot sale or to watch the Dons?
The cost of admission or car parking charges isn't a issue with me you and lot of other supporters are surmising that admission prices & car parking costs are the reasons fans are staying away I admit that it will deter some fans from coming to support the Dons but not all of them, you need to find out the reasons why they don't support the Dons anymore.
Take todays attendance of 647 & look at the attendances I posted on this forum last week for home games in 1990
e.g.
Fulham 2211
Trafford Borough 1933
Runcorn 2149
Workington 2248
I don't think those teams would have brought many supporters so you need to find out why those missing supporters don't come to watch the Dons anymore. Ask the club to put a questionnaire in the Star & Free Press asking why fans don't attend anymore.
The Dons home fixture in January 1990 against Keighley had an attendance of 1968 |

I stated around two years ago why I wouldn't be attending the Dons anymore I haven't posted anything in the last couple of weeks about my reasons
You still don't know the reasons why the support as dropped off the club needs to find out the reasons why. |

No I do not know why the support has dropped off !
Are you not going to comment on the Blackpool crowd of 71 then.
