Now the discussion is back to the game here’s my opinion. The best team won on the day. They wanted it more and it was that simple but saying that we were are own worst enemies and bombed some clear cut chances. I don’t have much to say about many players as I aren’t sure I can say just how poor the majority were. Only tali and kesik seemed remotely interested yesterday so I for one definitely agree with the mom. I just don’t understand how certain players can perform so badly nearly every week and still be giving a shirt.
Another point anyone got any clue on the sin binning because I haven’t a clue what happened there.

Keswick was head and shoulders above almost everyone today and deserved MOM.
Tali was excellent in defence in the first half but didnt get many chances to test the opposition with his powerful running ,as the ball rarely ventured outside the middle channel.

With Harris gone we need to find another quality half quickly or mid-table mediocrity will become a real possibility.

For me our starting props are poor and failed to match the aggression of a Hunslet pack containing five ex Dons , who showed more desire than they ever did in a Dons shirt.
They won the arm wrestle giving their backs more chances to play.

We are badly missing the workrate of England ,Cross and Braham .................if they are injured then lets hope they are not long term.

Osbourne looks to be another addition to Hull's injury list so two props and a decent half should be the clubs priority with some tough games coming up.

We will never progress as a club if the people at the top are never accountable for their performance, our play was slow and predictable, there was no excuse for that performance although a certain person will do his best on Thursday (my guess is injuries, bad luck, poor refereeing in that order). Agree with others about kes and tali they were the only 2 who look bothered and put a shift in, I'm beginning to think like s-o that horne is definitely not ready and some of his choices are questionable at best, the word deja-vu constantly springs to mind but fans forget we are the clients and we pay their wages we are more than entitled to ask for change.

I have to agree that there were not many positives to take out of the game. As previously stated Kes and Tali were our best players.

Kieran and Brad are both injured. Kieran i hear has a torn bicep and Brad is hoping to be back for the Keighley game. Not sure on the other three.

Hunslet appeared to want the game more than the Dons they were quicker off the mark whereas the Dons were static when they were passing the ball. Not often are the forwards running onto the ball and halfbacks dont follow the the forwards to get good possession the team as a whole were too lethargic and the players who give most seem to be left out pick the strongest 13 hopes of a play off place are diminishing fast

Association of Applied Sports Psychology: The 3C's of being a Captain.

Captains embody 3 C's in leading their team: Caring, Courageous, and Consistent. Being named a team captain is quite the honor. The position of captain is given to those athletes whom the rest of the team respect and trust to lead the team in the right direction. A captain must be accountable after a bad performance or practice. Captains are expected to perform in the clutch and lead the team to victory. It is also expected that captains will maintain control in the most pressurized situations and be the model of excellence for their teammates.

I appreciate its RHs decision but Kyle Keswick is the only one who regularly displays this and he had the captaincy taken off him!

If we have got all these injured players the decision to sell Harris to Hull can't have been made as stated by CH in the best interests of the club why couldn't they delay the transfer until our own injury situation had improved or better still finalize the deal at the end of our season.

I'm not saying he shouldn't have gone to Hull but I dont think the timing of the transfer was done in the best interests of the Dons unless of course they are struggling for money.
If you listen to the Lee Radford interview when the Dons first signed Liam it was always Hulls intention to sign him at the end of this season perhaps when Hull sold Watts to Castleford they had space in their salary cap to sign another player.
