| Quote: Stand-Offish "6-26 down at half time.
I thought we were supposed to be in the same league as Leigh.
In a strange way, it is good to be playing without Hull players bar one, because it shows exactly where we are ... fooking nowhere basically!
COYD
Going outside now for more pain.
Bloem is their fourteenth man.'"
Agree we always stand way too flat so no one is running on to the ball - it makes a huge difference. That being said I enjoyed most of it and was pleasantly surprised by Kittrick's contribution. Considering after Leigh's first try if memory serves their next 3 were off of either forward passes or a knock on and I believe the last might have been off an odd decision regarding a ball steal.
As for Bloem his performance was such that I was genuinely shocked when he blew up play for a blatant forward pass he was less than 2 yards from that would have led to another Leigh score.
Even so there was only ever going to be one winner but it was nice to see the effort put in by some of the lads and I thought Pas deserved his MOTM as he was definitely the best for us.

| No one could fault the effort. I thought Holt did ok.
As stated Leigh were a class above the Dons

| Thought Holt had a good game and would give him a game with wilko or Cooke at some point this season, as he looked like he could break the line

| Watched 25 mins of e-gulls vs blue dogs.
Both sides looked far better than Doncaster/Hull ...abbreviated to Dull.
Incidentally, what a shiite side Hull are ... Radford is back in pole position to be the first coach fired.

| Leigh were the better side by a mile, however I counted at least 5 of their tries came as a result of either a direct forward pass or a forward pass in the build up to a try. They were throwing forward passes all game and got away with it as they were far too quick for the officials to keep up with play. The same applies to offside at the play the ball, they were doing it all game and shutting down any potential move sets leading us to one man rugby. I will be shouting forward in my sleep tonight and if anyone on here took offence to my outburst then I apologise. We never gave up and thats all you can ask of a team.

| Can't disagree with what's been said about effort, there was plenty, but we never looked in the same league as them, but they will outplay a lot of teams this season. Onto the next game.

| As said by everyone else, pace and class told but a good effort. Well done Dons.
A few Right ref decisions may have made the score a bit more respectable.
Always said Liam Kay was a class act, not many more elusive players than him playing anywhere.

What was the penalty count?

| it was,nt just the penalty count,it was his total inability to pick up a forward pass.3 try possibly 4 were scored from forward passes in the build up or in final scoring pass.

That's exactly what i meant by we didn't get anything off him.
The penalty count is totally irrelevant to that.

| Excellent effort by the Dons today. They gave 100% but were beaten by a very good side indeed.
Well done to Leigh and thanks to all their travelling fans for coming over to the match. Good luck for the rest of the season.
As for the Dons, we need to keep working hard and move onto the Hunslet game next weekend.
I was pleased to hear the attendance was announced today after being omitted at the last few games.
I thought Mike Emmett deserved the man of the match. Pas Dunn did well too but I'd have had him in second place.
I enjoyed the moment in the first half when Sean Penkywicz tried to run out from his own half and turned straight into Brett Waller, and got, shall we say. stopped in his tracks!
PS. I enjoyed Jemmo's programme article as always.
