And it might be a very good deal,, why do people always think the glass is half empty instead of half full.
Some people always think of the worst and the negatives

When you say 'might', what does that mean?
Is it a good deal for Doncaster RLFC?
Please explain.

| The Dons are in a very unenviable position when something like this happens. If they try to stop a player from leaving, he's not likely to be particularly motivated when being forced to play for a team he'd prefer not to be with.
If they let him go, the fans start to think the club has no ambition. It's pretty much a lose-lose situation for the club.
If we can get Liam Harris back on loan when Albert Kelly is fit, that seems like the best outcome for us. We've got a happy player who will give his best and we've probably gained financially from the deal.
I think there is also another issue to consider. If we get the opportunity to sign any good young lads in the future, they'll be more likely to sign for us if they believe we won't try to hold them back in their careers. If we get a reputation for not letting players go, they're less likely to want to come in the first place.
Good luck to Liam. I hope it all works out well for him and he progresses to be a Hull first-team regular.

You were taking the opposite position, I asked you to explain why. If you can't so be it.

Fair comment. I would say the deal wouldn’t of been done if it was not a good deal for the club basic economics

Perhaps it was done to help reduce the current liabilities Doncaster RLFC have.

| Didn’t think it would be long before the doom and gloom squad joined in. To be fair it was bound to happen it always does and it’s starting to get boring. They should set up there own post where they can just moan to each other and leave the genuine supporters who genuinely care about the club to debate sensible issues.

Or you could do the same and toss each other off!
Sorry ... just pointing out that there are two sides to each coin.
But somehow it doesn't come across that way with some ...
Supercillious or what?
If you're not happy with what you read ... don't read anymore.
Or you could do 'foe' blocking if that still exists as an option.
Me ... I read it all even the positive stuff!
lol

As you were a former director of the Dons why do you think a town the size of Doncaster population 302,400 that the Dons who are third in there division having won seven of there nine league games they have played to date can only normally attract average crowds of around 500 to 600 with the exception of the Bradford game.

Probably the same reason you and lad don't go anymore - shocking indifference.
