| Minus 18pts with not fantastic conditions won't have me rushing to the bookies, we absolutely can cover that but think it will just be a watching brief this afternoon for me COYD

Agreed, these sort of conditions can be quite a leveller.

| I agree with all of the above. Wet conditions generally mean lower scores and a mid-field grind. I think Dewsbury probably look a good bet getting 18 points start. I'll be delighted if we win by that many.
The question for us is whether Barrow had an off day and we were flattered or whether our performance against Fev is a better reflection of where we're at. I suspect we're better than the Fev performance but we need to back up the Barrow result for me to think we're actually that much better than them.

| Does anyone know if we will be segregated again? That caught me out at the Fev game and they scanned my season ticket and let me through the away end (why on Earth you would do that if you are segregating I'll never know).
Had to negotiate with 2 stewards and show them my pass to rejoin the folks I had come with (I'd nipped ahead to use the facilities while one of our party was buying a ticket).
While the Stewards were nice enough I cannot fathom why if you have an away end you would accept the season ticket on the gate and have the scanning equipment there too let alone not say anything or have any signs up at the turnstyle.
Also since my season ticket was my proof of belonging at the other side what would happen if someone had paid cash for a ticket would they have been stranded?
I'm honestly also not sure why they had barriers on everything to segregate us all imo as I am unaware of any issues in the past between two sets of fans? The only fans I ever remember us having issues with were Hull KR.

| Good win but it sounds like we should have had a few more points. Speedy recovery for Reece Lyne (hamstring)

| Our forwards were dominant , Knowles & Burns outstanding.
Hope Lyne is not out for too long .
Craig Hall showed what a versatile player he is , no doubt he could slot in at centre at Widnes.

| I agree about our forwards being dominant here thought Burns put in one hell of a stint with some very good tackles. My favourite was when the attacker tried to drag him one way before giving a drop off pass to someone else in order to beat him. Nope Burns just switched targets instantly and the second the Dewsbury man caught the ball he wrapped him up.
Having not seen the Barrow game our defense was a marked improvement on Fev. We had players actually pressuring the kicker and our line speed was much better with us getting up in the attackers faces a lot more and putting in some stinging hits.
As well as Lyne I hope Watson is ok as I was surprised he didn't play I assume maybe he picked up an injury? If not would swap him for Robinson for next week honestly I think his running game would have thrived off of the game today.
Regards Craig I think where we play him depends on injuries. We could put Tali at Centre and leave him at stand off potentially I suppose a lot of it depends on the fitness of Johnston and Boas.
Does anyone know if Foster was injured? Came on had two good runs and went off after about 10 mins it seemed?
On a side not the referees really need to get tougher on these blatant high shots on Briscoe he seems to frustrate the defense with his strong running so they resort to trying to take his head off and whilever the referees simply choose to ignore this like the one late on in the second half teams will keep doing it.
Both highshots on Briscoe in the second half should have been yellows imo.
For an organisation (RFL) that is supposedly all about player welfare these days and trying to protect players from the consequences of concussion this is simply not good enough. While I'm sure the club would never get one I feel they are owed an explanation as to why when that happens right in front of the referee no action is taken.

| Foster seemed to holding his hamstring when he went off.
Dominant performance from our forwards. They were all in top form. I hope the injuries aren't too bad.
Burns was outstanding. No one had a bad game. It was hard to pick a man of the match.
Craig Hall is certainly a class act. He has to be one of the first names on the teamsheet... although I don't what position I'd put him in!
The bookies got it wrong today. I got it even more wrong. I think we've shown that last week at Barrow wasn't a fluke.
The Batley game is on the day of the League Two Wembley play-off final.

| My view on yesterday. That was the dominating forwards I can remember seeing from a Dons team for an awful long time. Maybe even ever. The game was won, and then some, in the middle of the pitch. Knowles was a cut above and Burns ran the show, particularly in defence. I also really like the dynamic change we get from bringing Hepi on.
Disappointed we bombed so many chances and don't think the score reflected our dominance. In part this was due to a few poor decisions near the line from us, so suppose we got what we deserved in the end in that regard
