I did not go the game to judge, but I want to give your team credit, as not easy for even Superleague teams at Widnes.Yes was a lot of quality missing in the Widnes side, but I wish you the best for the rest of the season.

Was worth the time and expense to witness what I believe was the best overall performance by a Dons team this century, not because they pushed a super league team all the way but because of the discipline and professionalism shown by all, Paul Cooke was orchestrating the rest of the squad and fought for each other, unfair to pick a man of match, however some stand out efforts were Kyle Kesicks defensive display in the 1st 20 minutes and his link with Mike Emmett in attack, our pack outplayed theirs with outstanding effort from Brett Waller, and Mike Kelly an unsung hero, Grant Edwards also deserves a mention for his efforts, Craig fawcett had his best game of the season typified by after 65 minutes he was in a three man tackle and sprinted back 10 yards to fill his gap in defence, the last 2 widnes tries were through tired tackles but through poor positioning or lack of organisation, the team last night had pride, skill, and a team spirit that takes me back to Warrington in September. Please keep the same team baring injuries and suspensions.

Great performance by Doncaster, out-enthused Widnes for long periods and were probably unlucky to lose the game. Hope you enjoy the rest of your season.
