No handbags from me, the blokes a fool - though thankfully not representative.

Some of us have other interests in life as well as Rugby League.
Let's be fair ,as with all SL clubs you're only in this for your own benefit. As soon as a player hits good form or you get a few injuries they are recalled. I see Bradford are lending Dewsbury O'Brian, Addy and Donaldson (all have first team experience) at the weekend, no disrespect to the Wakey players on dual contract with the Dons but none of them have much first team experience in SL.
It's not like you are a big team like Leeds or Hull is it, you only got into the play offs by default.'"
Considerably bigger than you. Default or not and I assume it's the third default as it's the third time it's an experience you'll never have, not ever in your whole life - that must hurt and I'm sad for most Donny fans........but not you
Happy new year.

| The above spat is just one of the reasons why I can't be bothered anymore with postings. You express an opinion or thought and somebody takes umbrage. There a a couple of posting on the Dewsbury site about Sundays game that you can take up, We should be beating the likes of Donny- usual fare for Donny sport I suppose and then Mark Ashton saying the Championship is devalued by the number of new teams promoted. They are entitled to have a say, it's the reaction that gets it going IMO.
Oh and while I'm on, Wakeys turn around in form was the story of last years SL season, bar none IMO, Good luck to em (and Cas)

i shall always be grateful to the wildcats for there help in loaning us dual reg players in my opinoin qualty players for our league , bobby goulding looks a player of great potentialwho will learn a great deal playing alongside paul cooke more than he would playing in wakeys 2nd team so its a win win situation once they get tim smith back playing i think we will have him more often than not , lucas walshaw was one of my men of the match at warrington danny cowlings form over the season speaks for its self. as for playing wakefield it was what the fans were calling for to play a super league team pre seasonit might have been just a blow out for them but we could only learn from the game, so i say well done wakey and thank you, and thanks to your fans for coming the few i spoke to were full of praise of the dons and our magnificent stadium , up the cats

Well said that man. Too many fans get their rocks off by looking down their noses at 'lower' clubs, and I find it hard to believe we have some of those at Wakey. For me, the most outstanding memory of Sunday will be watching part-time professionals putting their bodies on the line against athletes in full-time training. I don't care how naturally big and tough you are, it takes some bottle to front up against the likes of Amor and Poore even if you train full-time, and I thought your number 8 (amongst others) took it right to them despite getting knocked back time after time. I like the dons (I'm from Donny and went to watch them at Tatters Field in the early 70's a few times), I like your fans and I think the Keepmoat is a cracking stadium.

| His comments were relayed to me by a mate at work who has been a Rovers seasons ticket holder for years and years, We both have a mutual feeling for Sheffield based matters and the way that 'the likes of Donny' are portrayed. To be fair to Tubby he has done a cracking job with sod all attendence but The Championship should not be a closed shop like SL. IMO

Take a look at Salford , nice stadium never going to fill it, money troubles!

All is fine regarding our new stadium. Many thanks for your concern though.

| Wakefield supporters - the views of one or two Dons supporters do not represent those of all them. So whilst I am playing Devils Advocate on that front, I do think Wakefield supporters do need to think before posting.
Can everyone just play nicely.

I would add that I think we've done very well out of the relationship with Wakefield over the past couple of seasons. Potts, Hyde, Spiers, Walshaw, Cowling and now Goulding ... players who have certainly enhanced / will enhance the Dons.

| Some clubs are abusing the system now though, Dewsbury signing on all the Bulls squad Dual Reg.
Agree about our relationship with Wakefield working well last season , trouble is cannot see us getting Cowling as often this season .

I think we discussed this at the end of last season, is it upto 7 you can have on dual reg?, not good for clubs at championship level, with too many coming and going, could.turn into nothing more than a feeder league. Im all for a couple of them enhancing squads, but your never going to know if they will be available the following week. should be limited to three per club, and season long loans
