There is a transfer deadline for the current season which means that players cannot swap clubs at this time fo the year. Agreeing a contract for next season means the player can only actually sign once their current contract expires.

It was reported in The Star that Tom would be in line to play (and kick goals) this weekend in the Workington game.

I suspect that Tony Miller hasn't wanted to change a winning team to allow Tom back in, which could also have been one of the reasons Deano left, but now we've got to make changes due to Paul Cooke being out.

I hope the crowd get behind Tom on Sunday as he's played a very big part in our success this season.

Could Tom be the answer to replace Cook at stand off on Sunday?
Would certainly add some pace and darryl Powell says he can play centre wing or stand off. He must have played stand off at some point in his career.

DonNews's post has really heartened me about Hodson and Butterfield and I am happy and back on track.

The left wing pairing of Waterman and Hodson should be a handful for Workington and Butterfield back at fullback is long overdue.

As I have said before, there is no reason at all that someone who has injured their hand should not have kept up their fitness.

Toms contract at fev starts in 2013,he is a dons player until after the grand final when donny get past Workington. he has been fully fit for 3 weeks. He hopes to be included in the team and has been keeping his form for kicking should he be asked to step up. Tom has loved being a Doncaster player.we have enjoyed every minute supporting you dons.Big thank you come on you dons

i got to hold my hands up thought that tom along with rest of the lads put in a shift with agood defence put in some big hits against some big lads (OK overweight lads ) but he got to do that every week next year but good luck to the lad i wish him well, and thank you tom
