The pre season recruitment has cost us dearly (or lack of it).

I had hopes for today but how wrong I was.

I was going to buy one of the new t-shirts but fortunately my size wasn't available today - about the only thing I can be happy about.

Onto the match: a complete shambles. Having been a supporter since 1977, I've seen my fair share of garbage but today ranks alongside the worst.

I feel sorry for the mom sponsor who had to pick a name but how they came up with Mike Emmett is anyone's guess- the only time the ball comes out of his hands is when he knocks on! What does Dave Scott have to do, turn water into wine? One of the few regular players that can be relied on and can't be blamed for his defence when left exposed on so many occasions today.

Rant over. What happens next? Where do we go from here?

1 - ditch dual reg. The Hull lads are making up the numbers and not adding anything.

2 - get a settled team together. For too long we've been looking like 13 strangers with trying to accommodate whatever Hull want to send us.

3 - play some of the lads signed for this season. We'll probably take some beatings but at least they'll get some game time together. That assumes they've not already left us.

4- Plan for next season now. We're going down for certain so don't let's see a repeat of this years' fiasco/shambolic close season before we start 2016.

He played in and inherited a good side. All he has done is dismantled and broken up that side into nothing.
Cunningham,spaven,waterman,Morrison,castle. All gone! He's thrown away 3 yrs of Tony millers and Carl halls hard work
He can't pick a side to play where were kesick and some others today!
He retired from playing because he says he wasn't good enough well he needs to retire from coaching because he's not good enough.
DR has got scrapped immediately it is just to disruptive to the side.

Where was Shaun Leafe today?

I can't believe a player with his commitment can't make the team.

No wonder he's jacking it in at the end of this season, can't blame him.

When we've no idea who's in/out from Hull, it doesn't help. I guess I could buy a programme but which part of Club Doncaster would I be funding?

hello peeps , I personally cant think of a worse feeling than what lm feeling now for my much loved dons. As lve said before lve been through it all with this club thick and thin, good and bad , sometimes very very bad but never before have l been this p"""ed off. On paper we have got some good players but for whatever reason they just don't do anything at all that will produce a win. I don't know if its the coach the players or both, what l do know is that we WILL be in the lower division next year, in the next couple of months we will lose our best players to other clubs and we will end the season (it ended today) with sweet f""k all. No players no crowd nothing. At this point you could bring in superman and sooty and his magic wand but the outcome will be the same, sweet F A. I for one will support the club and the players for the rest of the season because its what l have always done. The people running the club need to look at whats happened in the last few months and learn from that, the idea of having a "team of youngsters" was stupid anyone with half a brain could see that. We need to start again with a team of Donny players(as l have said many times before) get rid of DR and any coach that wants to use it, Lets build a team , just so the powers that be understand a team is a group of guys that play together week in week out and are not dropped for some super league third rate wannabe. Im not putting anymore into this post as the more l write the more despondent l feel. COYDs. ffs.

Its not only Cooke who is responsible for this situation .Carl Hall has some responsibility , he stated in one of his dugout videos that he would sort things out! It got a whole lot worse today .

There is some truth in that, but we are told money is available, but PC won't bring in players that , he thinks, won't improve the squad. Is he just guilty of backing his coach?, I don't presume to know how the club is run, so I really have no idea. All I know is that the last few (home) games, before today, I thought we were making progress, looking like a win was close. Then today, we got that!, can't blame anyone but the players on the park for todays performance, they missed the tackles, they dropped their heads, they looked, quite frankly, like they didn't give a s%'t. Today was the first time I've thought that.

Some of the so called Dons youngsters are older than the Hull players being brought in and our players, young, old or whatever imo would have done a better job for us given the chance to play together on a regular basis!.. Dont say the Hull players have more experience, as most of them are only academy players, who are pretty much at the same level as our 'young' signings who previously played at academy level very successfully.. And then to make more of a mockery of it, Hull throw in the odd first team player at the expense of one or other of our key players!.. Well that doesnt wash, It is nothing to do with bad player recruitment, it is bad player selection..The Hull players couldn't give a flying F about us!
