| May be because if they are wrong no one will be any wiser , or they do know but shouldn't be posting the detail.

| To save money in keeping with the penny-pinching Club Doncaster ethos, Paul Dikov will manage both clubs, wear a mini-skirt and turn out for the Belles too.
You heard it here first.
Also the winning entry for the new brew for our spell at Castle Park ...is .......'Going down a treat!'

| The lads played very well today and should have come home with 2 points. We were always in the game and matched Dewsbury every minute of the match. There were some cracking hits in defence as well!
The big issue with the fans and players will be what happened about 4 minutes from time. Groat went over to the right of the posts with the score at 10 - 6. All of the players and fans jumped in the air to celebrate as everyone was convince it was a try. The first thing I do before celebrating is watch for the refs reaction to see if he takes a step backwards to give the try. The ref was stood at the side of the incident and ran straight to the 20 metre line. I never saw him make a signal so no one knew why the try had been chalked off. it topped off a shocking performance from him.
On the way home on Radio Leeds the bloke interviewing the Dewsbury coach said that he had heard the ref say the ball had been grounded on the defenders leg and then Groat had released the ball. Only the match video will clear this one up. From where we were it looked a try all day long.
To top it off he then gave a Crookes try to Dewsbury while Crookes was laid on his back held up. Again where we were there was no way the ball was grounded . we will need the tapes again for this one!
The lads gave a great go of it today and deserved the points. Well done to all the boys and keep plugging away the results will come.
How Dewsbury are fourth on that display I don't know.

Is it possible that they're doing what we did last season in managing to win some games in which they don't play that well?

Sounds like some questions to answer.
Good to hear that we matched them today ... perhaps we are starting to turn the corner?

Perhaps mate. Cant see us getting much change out of Bradford next week but we should be beating teams around us with displays like that. One area of concern though was that we bombed 3 or 4 golden chances near their line today. Just look like miscommunication within the team. They can straighten that out in training but again like I mentioned on another thread , it was another different half back partnership today.

No shame if we don't, they gave London a 12-point start in the opening 9 minutes today and still won 36-18.
