At the end of the game the players came over to the fans , they looked gutted and embarrassed, lee and Scotty came to the sides and both didn't underarand what went wrong, we look a shadow of last season, the only players we lost and spav, cas and tom hodson, we miss spav I thought his kicking game was excellent , cas hasn't played much this season at hunslet so not sure what he's doing, and toms pace is sorely missed it gave us another option and saved tries by tracking back opposition breaks, why we are so far behind last seasons form is a mystery, yes other teams have signed players but nothing to suggest we could be 60 points difference in a game if you take the home game against leigh. This actually gives a small glimmer of optimism knowing if we rediscover last seasons form we can still stay up, although a couple of loan signings for the season would help if of quality and better than dual reg which means you don't have a settled team, the side today looked lost and as if they haven't played with each other which thinking about it they haven't this season.

Well it is with deep regret that i think new players are needed. The club have given most of last years players a chance to show themselves in a more difficult league than last year, but some have shown that they are not good enough.

We need some new blood who can play at a higher level. The penalties are killing us at the moment and all we hear from the club is that we will be working on this, well please tell me how many penalties were conceded again today.

The communication with the fans as a whole is non-existent. why don't we get to know who is injured and what the team will be on a Friday, its not like it is a secret as they have to name the team to the rugby league on that day.

After all the hard work over the past few years i feel saddened that most fans are not happy with whats going on at the club, bad performances, no communication(please bring back Dons News)

People from the club must have read some of the comments posted on the forum, but there is no one coming on here and giving us any reassurances to what is going on or what if anything the club is going to do. We cant keep saying we will get it sorted and that we have the right players at the club, it certainly looks like we haven't got the right calibre of players at the moment.

Thought last week was bad enough but i was wrong. Wot a load of s**t!!! Wen the draw was made i thought tough draw but was 100% that we wud win. I hope Pas hasn't left he's one of only a few players who play with the intensity in both defence and attack that we need, we are in trouble so it's time to stick together as supporters and get behind the team, they looked shattered yesterday, confidence must be at such a low we need to be vocal next Sunday from the start.

What senior players would you let go without a risk of things being made even worse though?

I personally wouldn't wish for anyone to leave, they've not become bad players overnight, it's a confidence issue which compounds their form, a bit of inspiration from somewhere is what's needed and that could be a good quality signing to lift everyone, even a loan deal with a respected player.

Shocked by the result yesterday really expect us to get a result there and looking at the final score it wasn't even a narrow defeat. Seems confidence is shot and they are without a rudder.

I was thinking this morning on the drive to work that this season has some echos of the ill-fated Lakers campaign promised the moon and delivered nothing but disappointment.

PC's post match interviews are the same, we know the problem we are just not doing on the pitch then maybe either they are addressing the wrong problem or we need people on the pitch who do understand.

Other clubs in our division are strengthening still bringing in new players I think a injection of a "name" into the squad could boost both team and supporter morale.

After yesterdays results I find it very difficult to predict a win for the Dons at the moment....now is the time to make a change before its to late and we are in Championship 1 which I fear would be the death-knell for the club and many supporters.

The main reason why a team gives away penalties is because they are losing the ruck and are trying to slow the play the ball down, or being dominated by the opposition.

Not completing sets is primarily a case of trying to do that extra bit because you feel under pressure, trying the pass when it's not on, for example.

Some errors can obviously be cut out but when the other team is on top, it makes it tough to be squeaky clean.

I would imagine the players' have the right intentions to do the right things before a game starts, but once in the heat of battle (and this season a losing battle) the errors occur. This is why we're seeing the same patterns each week.

At least today's announcement that Tom Holt and Alex Palmer have left answers you question ... it poses another though ... we have gone for youth in the majority of our signings and these are now starting to leave ... where does that leave the original 'plan'?

Martyn Sadler (in support of earlier comments from colleague Gareth Walker about Dual Reg) suggests in League Express that the non-availabilty of Hull players may have contributed to the Dons losing a game they would otherwise expect to win and adds that The Dons may take some time to recover from this result.

For me, we have enough 'seasoned' players at the Club for us to have been competative, in this fixture at least, without the Hull players ... something is clearly badly wrong.

If its as you say DM we are making mistakes because we are being dominated or the opposition is on top, the answer is that the players we've got are not good enough then.
Otherwise we would be dominating and them making mistakes.
As everyone says we've not added enough quality or experience.
So the club now knows what needs to done or we will definitely will be.
