100%... you can add Rossington Maine and Frickley to the list too... a local non league club would love to have 500/600 fans at their ground buying beer/food/raffle/car parking etc. Good money maker for them as money is very tight at that level. |

During the Oldham v Newcastle play-off final, it was interesting to hear the commentators say that Oldham’s ground had been deemed not up to Championship standard by the RFL.
Will be interesting to see where they end up next season.

So how does Toronto's ground comply to the rugby leagues minimum standard requirements for a super league ground there is no cover against the elements for the spectators,when you see a game played there it looks like a beer festival with a constant stream of people continually walking in front of the crowd making there way to one of the numerous beer tents whilst the game is in progress. |

The RFL seem to set their criteria and then backtrack to fit the circumstances.
Didn’t they set a deadline for Wakefield to revamp Belle Vue when they went into Super League? As far as I can see, it’s not even a work in progress yet.

The criteria are not a rigged set that all have to be met, clubs have to meet a number of key ones and then a certain amount of the others. Not ground is expected to meet ALL the requirements exactly. Oldham must have been deemed to not meet enough, Toronto do. Toronto's is certainly not the worst ground in Super League
