| Their forwards were streets ahead of ours.Without mentioning names acouple of them should have been released long before now. If we can see that but the coach can't,we are going nowhere. Sadly it's just the same old same old.

| I expected us to get beat today, they are a tough side at home and have had 3 warm up games and spent well it would seem. We had to be ring rusty and no I did not watch it on the livestream. Did I hear correct from the Coach that we have only been training something like for the past few weeks. It all adds up, some have said on social media that the score flattered them but that is no big surprise in RL.
Get ready for another hard game next week, even though we are at home and I fancy us to be up against it. Its a pity Watson will be missing on that beautiful surface, he would be in his element.
Just had a peep at the Fans Facebook page, sheer madness its just been one game

Results like this make me realise why I've not missed the lack of sport during lockdown.
I have no faith in our coach or our forwards and am fed up with this repeated insanity (doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results)
That is me done for the foreseeable.'"
After one game?. Really?

| Like the rest of us it’s not one game that has put us off but years of listening to the elite telling us that super league and the 5 year plan is progressing well, the people running the club may have their heart in the right place but common sense tells us that their heads are not

| I would think most clubs outside of super league except for so called expansion clubs will have by now accepted that super league will never happen. It's the sport that is holding clubs back, not the clubs themselves, though I would agree the Don's should by now be a championship club. Why would anyone invest knowing there is no end product

Richard Horne on our defeat see www.doncasterrugbyleague.co.uk
Did not seem to mention the penalty count in the opening part of the game.
Reflecting 24 hours later , liked the look of Johnson , the 2nd row forward.

| I watched the game live yesterday and then watched a repeat this afternoon. You get a different perspective when you're not as emotionally involved.
I would never draw any conclusions about new players until I've seen them four or five times. I did like the look of Liam Johnson though,
Really felt sorry for Ryan Dixon. I hope his injury isn't too bad. He seems to have no luck.
It was a shame we couldn't have had a more gentle start to the season as having not played can't have helped from a fitness point of view or from a co-ordination point of view. Keighley didn't have that problem.
There are certainly things to be worked on defensively but we'll see whether we can tighten up those weaknesses in the next few games. It's disappointing to concede 44 points to any team in our league.
Credit to Keighley. I thought they played to their strengths and had a good game plan. Their forwards were very effective and proved how size matters, especially when playing on a tight pitch.
I'm sure we'll improve next week when playing at home. We'll get a better idea as to how strong the comp is after seeing Rochdale too. Time might prove that Keighley are a very good side. It's hard to say at this stage. We'll know more after their trip to Barrow next Sunday.
It's great to have rugby back. It'll be even better when we can see it live. It's a shame we can't 'live stream' all the away matches. I don't have time to get to them but would certainly pay to watch them.
PS. Well done to Bolton on gaining promotion. I'm sure one Dons fan will have had a beer or two to celebrate!
