| What a mixed bag that was.
Thank goodness we won.
Positives... we came out well in the second half and played some rugby ... well until a couple of brainfarts stopped the momentum.
We are top of this division without actually having the clout and credentials.
So I think a few cracks have been papered over.
We had NOTHING going forward in the first half.
Our discipline albeit under pressure was and is SHOCKING.
Is RH the first blind coach in professional RL?
Can he not see the problems?
Keswick and Owen should hang their heads in shame giving penalties away whilst in possession.
WTF?
We need a stand-off and that is Miloudi in the absence of Howden .. yet he was played at fullback.
Horne is an idiot!
Enough!

| A very scrappy and unconvincing win. Personal reflections:
1. We're the major position changes to the team as a result of injuries?
2. Surely the D/R players should be slipped into our basic structure not wholesale changes just to accommodate the D/R players.
3. We have to cut out these unnecessary and silly PENALTIES!!!
4. Far too much lateral running.
Having said that, Connor Scott and Kyle Keswick performed very well and as a team on the whole our goal line defence is improving.

| First half was time travel to this time 2017. Second half was a bit better, quicker and smarter at times, but overall too frustrating for words. Good to see in the first half that the south east corner of the Keepmoat pitch is still'difficult' to score tries in.
North Wales were much better than their results imply, well coached, enthusiastic, and especially adept at being some distance in front of the ref at the play of the ball.
Frustration in buckets sums it up.

You mean the idiot who has you top of the division and playing the best rugby seen at the club since Paul Cooke was there.
its very early season and Horne is still looking at utilising and rotating the squad he has available until he finds his best 17.
Without doubt he will make changes when playing weaker teams in the division and play more of the loan/D/R players when available against the stronger teams.
Hull FC have a mini injury crisis at the moment so the likes of Lane,Downs,Turgut and Logan are not available to you but will be later in the season.
I have said you still need another big front row but if funds are not available to Horne he has to work with what he has and is doing a good job.
Whether you like or dislike the Hull Loans/D/R its the only way you will get out of this division.
You and other posters on here would have a lot more to moan about if you didnt have the Hull connection.

Whats happened to the money they had to fund the signings of the two Alberts that didn't materialize?

| We weren't great today but we're top of the league.
The brand of rugby we're playing is exciting to watch. We've got some issues that need sorting out but the other 13 teams in the division will have issues too - probably a few more issues than we've got in most cases.
As far as I'm concerned, Richard Horne is doing a very good job and I've got every confidence in him getting the best out of the players we've got. Take Jordie Hedges, for example, he's like a new man this season.

Yeah that idiot.
He has little control over his players if they can kick off like Owen did for instance and does NOTHING about it to the point that the game could have been lost.
Were you there?
He's weak seemples as ....
When we play anyone good we struggle.
Today we played a middle of the table side and struggled.
They looked a better balance than us.
I don't think he knows how fragile we are.
And if he does, apart from cadging Hull players he has little to offer.
And I forgot to say how rubbish our scrum half has been in the last two games ... he needs a the 'idiot' to have a word.
Without the Hull lads we would be very ordinary.
