| They just don't get it do they?
The management ...
What the fook will it take for them to jolt themselves out of this cycle of bollox?
They are committing suicide ...
Get a proper coach ... get proper players ... or get lost!
Is this a masterplan to get rid of the Dons?

Say what you mean and mean what you say because those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter.: |

| Nice to see Mark Castle on the score sheet for Hunslet who convincingly saw off Whitehaven. They're putting up a good fight and within 2 points of Batley although with a worse points difference. Will get 2 more points next week so could get interesting.
At least we won't have to hear it was a game of 2 halves this week.

| The introduction of a new coach is supposed to bring about an improvement but performances have gone from bad to worse so I think S.O. is right with everything he says. Even with a complete new squad of decent players I can't see Thornton being the man to get them to perform as an outstanding team next season. Basically it is an absolute bloody disgrace and to not score a single point against Workington is shameful. I said several months ago the aim was to put the Dons out of business so sadly S.O. is probably right with his final point too.

| Would have helped if we could field a full strength squad and not have a large majority of them on holiday.

| Big clear out of this seasons players, let him recruit for next year and bring some of his own players in. Maybe that would be a better time to judge him. I do appreciate all the comments as this year has been a very bad year with bad recruitment at the start of the season and some pretty poor performances. Maybe Cooke needed to go earlier than he did.
This season cannot end quick enough for me. Desperately need 2 good half backs, but will they be available or drop down to the CH1.

Maybe Peter Green may have some influence to bring in some of the Eagles players who haven't been retained due to them going full-time?
We could do worse than signing Dominic Brambani and Tony Tonks.

| I've watched the Dons since 1977 and while it pains me to say it, this season could be my last.
The absolute shambles I've seen this year has somehow made the Another Bloody Sunday episode look palatable. At least in those days we knew there were no funds to do anything about it but the constant claim of money being available immediately brings into question the ability of the people running the show from top to bottom.
On another thread, the Seagulls are releasing ten players: are we considering signing any? Are any prepared to drop a division to join us or are we going to sit and watch as they join our competitors? Haven't we seen this happen recently?
I assume the decision to let our players go on holiday has been taken as a result of there being nothing to play for but are we in danger of being charged with bringing the game into disrepute by treating the final fixtures as a bit of a joke?
The only way I'm going to look at coming back is by seeing a serious intent to get it right for 2016 by signing some quality players for the spine of the team. I'm not considering renewing my season ticket until something positive comes out of this shambolic excuse of a club.

| My blame goes to the bloke who signed Thornton up and has renewed his contract for next year. The same bloke who has pulled the wool over supporters eyes from the dugout on a weekly basis.
While he runs the club, it will keep me away.

Do you think he may have been more concerned that he has little or no control over his players ... read one or two of the comments on this thread and it's easy to work out why he was concerned. People know why we got hammered today.

Baz,
I have a lot of respect for you as you know and we worked exceptionally well together with the Trust.
BUT ... You and I were both at the same Fans Meeting a few short weeks before Cooke bailed and the powers that be (Baldwin, Scarrow, Hall and Cooke himself) were selling the same collective dream, 5 year plan involving Cooke as Coach.
The supporters of this Club have been treated VERY badly this season and continue to be.
But they have woken up to what's happening and as I said at the last meeting, this Club is now haemorrhaging supporters at an alarming rate.
Gary.

| The supporters are constantly told that the club is financially stable having just read on the companies house website the clubs abbreviated unaudited accounts for the year ending 31st October 2014 I was surprised at the amount of liabilities they have.

| When Club Doncaster bought the Dons did I imagine that the sum of 100k was paid out because someone was struggling for cash?

| The biggest worry now is that the supporters who are leaving are part of the hard core of fans who went week in week out for years no matter what.
There will be no one left to rescue the club next time when the present incumbents in charge walk away and pretend that none of it was their fault

| I was told at the weekend the club will still be aiming for super league and that club doncaster will step up and fund that even if there's 1000 or 1 fan attending games, the signings coming in are very good quality which will surprise people. I was speaking to carl on saturday and was impressed with his passion and vision, you might call me naive or gullible and that we've heard that before but i believed what he told me, i was as cynical as the next person and still want answers for this shambolic/pathetic season but i'm gonna reserve my judgement until the signings are confirmed. It's been horrific and painful to watch but stick with the club there will be better days. COYD
