| hiya peeps, What a game that was ,, just like the old days. I had a good feeling about today with the introduction of a couple of new players , the management admitting they got it wrong (earlier in the week) The coach making it clear he will be discarding players that are not fit /not trying hard enough, all this gave me a bit of hope and belief,, and feck me we did it lol. Some players really stood up to be counted today I think joe Mclocklan really gelled the team and was involved in all the good play. When we conceded 2 or 3 tries in he second half I feared the worst,, But we kept playing and turned out very worthy winners the hunslet fans seemed to stop singing for the last 25 mins for some reason .. The only question I would pose is why did we play a player at a key position (fullback) who was clearly not fit,??. So its a big well done today to the players the management and most of all the FANS who turned out today to support the team, well done everyone. COYDs. Halifax will be quaking in their boots now lol. Mitch Clarke is awesome get him signed for next year.

My MOTM too and probably his best performance in a Dons shirt.

| Great win today,At last. Not so sure about the leaving out of players not trying'who would you suggest?there was a lot not trying last week but stayed in the team.
At 26 6 down were the none tryers playing in the first half?
Still think there's a lot to do but some spirit has returned.

Pleased for you Richard that you enjoyed that, pleased for Steve R (lucky mascot ) that he saw a winning game and really pleased for the die hards. DM, DHKR, Wanderer, AP etc. Chuffed to bits that it was against a side that we couldn't win an argument against previously.

| dear mr final whistle,, the reference l make re, players not fit, not playing to the level of which the club expects is taken from the comments of gary thornton on the club website. "thornton" "it is difficult to take at times". I think he makes it quite clear that anybody not willing to give 100% effort 100% of the time needs to be elsewhere and l don't think a good coach should have a different attitude. I was referring to the poor efforts shown by some players (including the DR players) this season, Having not missed a match at home for many years I think l am qualified to say what l think. Just for the record I think that ALL the players today played really well. I will be there next week to show my support again. COYDs, hope YOU will be to.

| Great effort from the lads today. At 26-6, it looked as though we could cave in but we battled back.
It looked obvious that we were in better physical shape than Hunslet in the last 20 minutes and we managed to get on top of a team in a way we've not managed to do all season.
Hopefully, our old team spirit is on its way back. I thought all the new players brought something extra. Tom Carr was good under the high ball and looks to have a decent size and presence about him but he didn't look fit. I thought Sam Doherty looked at home in the centre, I can see him making a go of it in that position.
Everyone put in a good shift today and I'm really pleased for the players. It's been a tough season for them. It was good for the fans too!

| I had my head against the wall at 26-6 thinking it could end as another 50 plus defeat. Unbelievable!
And for the amount of stick they were throwing at us from the stands for 60 minutes there were some real teddies being thrown out after the game by their lot! Bless
