I'm not sure why a straightforward statement of a fact should cause so much offence.
Just because you're tenants at the Keepmoat doesn't mean the ground can't be rented to others.
You're tenants. So are we. Live with it.

| Looking at the logistics for the Keepmoat Double-Headers is interesting:
The Dons games kick off at 2.00pm. This means they will end around 3.45.
The Sheffield games kick off at 4.15.
When will the gates be open for the second match? Will people be coming into the ground before the Dons match has finished?
Will Dons' fans be allowed to go to the bar after the game for a drink or will they have to leave the ground?
Will everyone be sat on the same side of the ground or will Sheffield fans and their opponents be located in the West stand?
It'll be interesting to see what plans the club has for managing this.

| Apparently, you'll be paying your money for both games. I'm not sure that all the details have been worked out but that's what "double header" means to me.

| Sorry griff ... historically Keepmoat Double-Headers for football and rugby have not worked like this. One ticket did NOT allow fans into the ground for the football match AND the rugby match. You had to buy tickets for both.
One ticket for both games may apply this time around but it isn't how it worked before.

| As I understand it; it is going to be one match day price say (£15????) which gets you into one or both games.
Similar to a mini magic weekend

That arrangement is not a "double header" for me.

| I'd want more than £15 to have to sit through a Seagulls match.
BTW - is this Griff character the same muppet that takes a drum to matches? He's just as annoying.

I believe that the prices haven't been decided yet.

So how would this work with a split in gate receipts??
Logistically surely it makes sense for us to have one side of the ground and Eagles to have the other. The gate money could be allocated properly , no one could get into the second match without paying and Eagles fans can come and get there seats without disrupting the fans already in there watching the first game. Imagine the howls of "siddarn!!" during the match with people coming and going. It'll be a farce!

Surely that should remain a private agreement between the clubs. It's none of our business.

| Does this ground sharing agreement include having a shared forum? Every other post is from Griff now.
It is our business about how the money is being split because it has an impact on the Dons side.

The point I was making is that it's the club's business, not that of the run of the mill supporters.
You'll be wanting to inspect the payroll next.

| Their will be some good games next season ,with season ticket holders getting the best of both worlds .
Regardless of which team you support, you are going to see some quality rugby.
The Dons are getting a good deal from this arrangment i can assure you ,with the extra revenue going straight in to next seasons playing budget.
