I accept that Rooney was more instrumental in the game for Whitehaven than Cooke was for us, but Jessie-Joe Parker "outstanding". That's stretching things a bit.

Ive not commented on this for a couple of days as I didnt want to lose my rag.Lets say I left the ground not very impressed. I thought we were poor and Haven were average. If we had played like that against Barrow or Worky we would have got hammered.
Nobody wanted to grab the game by the balls from a Donny point of view and take control. There was only Waterman and a couple of others who looked like they wanted to win. Rooney didnt really have to break sweat. I think their coach is saying Parker was sensational to justify his signing. He played ok, no better than that.
It also puts to bed the team travelling up on the day or staying overnight argument. If thats how we play after an overnight stay then we shouldnt waste the money next season.
