When we played Warrington a couple of weeks ago they PUSHED us in our scrums! Cheating b**gers!

The sooner we get rid of scrums altogether the better, they're an even bigger joke in our game than they are a farce in union. And while we're at it if somebody could have a word with whoever polices the laws of physics and ban 'momentum'.....

We're not adversed to a push a the scrum ourselves now and again, although I probably shouldn't be giving away out tactics

Wow eleven years on here 15,000 posts' and a mod to boot, no mean feat but don't you ever stop to think what you might have been if you had taken more notice of your teachers at school

I'm assuming with us usually playing Sunday's and Wakey usually playing Sunday's, the game will indeed be Sunday this time???

I imagine most of the supporters from Wakefield will mainly be season ticket holders so won't have to pay and it would be the same whichever super league club came irrespective of how many turn up.Another good move by the RFL.Mind at least the SMC will benefit from the increase in numbers.

We get a lump sum from the RFL in lieu of the gate receipts, similar to Thatto Heath not benefitting from any of our Season Ticket holders

Is it ' relative ' to the numbers that turn up ?

I believe that Wakey only have around six hundred or so season ticket holders, probably due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of the club before the beginning of the season. However from what i've read elsewhere they took around 1,500 to Hull last week, so maybe we could make some money out of this fixture after all if non ST holders can be encouraged to turn up by buying up front.

Don't know how much is paid by RFL but no doubt not be as much as the entrance price so can the club sell tickets at the Wakefield ground at pre match prices.If they were made available early might sell a few at their home games before the 8th May.There will be plenty of Wakey supporters on Sunday for the home game against Leeds!Theres every chance they could beat Leeds and fans could be tempted to buy cup tickets.Just a thought but need to take every opportunity to get some cash.

But the announcement on Sunday about the game was that season tickets were not valid and all to pay so whats changed?

i hope it is made clear well in in advnce of the game, cos as a season ticket holder me and my son paid a tenner each against thatto was well pee,ed off, i predict an upset against wakey..
