| After last 2 games it looks like they should be made to stay on pitch at half time as it looks like they go to sleep in the dressing room.
When people say about half backs Shaun Leafe started at half back

There must be some sensible reason for this second half crap....I don't buy this inexperience guff.....that's just an excuse.
It's something that can be worked on and should be.
They are either not fit enough or they are turning off or they are not motivated enough to go for the jugular or a combination.
It should be sorted out at coach level.....since it is holding this side back.
Did we have injuries that disrupted our second half?
It will be interesting to hear first-hand reports from the stalwarts when they get back anytime soon.

| Think the half time team talk needs changing, because the last two weeks first half`s have been good displays, second half`s totally Shi*e.
We came out in the second half like we were the beaten team, instead of the team that was dominating the game...Credit to Gateshead they never stopped playing, the last two second half displays need to be looked at.
Aaron Henry for me was the MOTM.
And there didn't seem to be any injuries from where we were sat.

Why do they only appear to be inexperienced in the second half?

That's right, Shaun played at six when he first went down to Belle Vue, playing understudy to Paul Mansson, all those years ago. He also toured Australia with GB students in 2003, playing at 6 in all five games.

| For the second game in a row, fantastic first half (even allowing for the opposition). I don't know, and I don't think any of the supporters know, WTF happens at half time.
One thing is for sure, we come out a different (almost beaten) side in the second half.
Gateshead weren't great first half and second half they were only slightly better but it was enough to virtually take them past us.
Again, I come away from a game grateful for a win but feeling disappointed overall.

| 3 wins out of 4 matches in 2 weeks has got to be good news and give some hope.If there are 3 more wins out of the next 4 that will leave us well up the table.
Regarding the last 2 second half failures this contradicts the great second half they played against York in the first of the 4 matches. Maybe possession of the rugby ball is the deciding factor

| I didn't go today. But the last 3 ways (including hunslet away) I think ball in hand is the main factor.
we look a good side with the ball and always threatening to score (one thing we didnt look capable of at the start of the campaign), but since that york game, attack has happened. i still get frightened when we are forced to defend.
would like to know peoples take on the final 20 minutes of todays game though from the supporters who we're there.
From my understanding there were no scored in the final 20 minutes. To go from 32-6 up to 32-28 up with 20 minutes left and still win, seems incredible. Surely the lads need some credit for holding out another 20 minutes after a initial CRUMBLE. We're the Dons under the cosh in the last 20? or was it even even or was we on attack?

Yes keeping hold of the ball would be a good idea and not dropping it!!
Inexperienced! Leaf & Lawton have played for years and have nt some of the young lads played at an high level in either amateur ranks or in Super League Academies.
Or is it a sign of a good team, that can play 40 minutes and still win?

| Yes one of the positives was that we held on when the see-saw had clearly tipped in Gateshead's favour.....when that happens momentum would have usually indicated that Gateshead would go on and win.
But surprisingly we stopped them.
Well done Donny for that.
I just hope we don't hear any crap excuses from the coach......it's not just the player's fault when these things happen....he needs to stand up and take some responsibility and not just blame the players.
He would get a lot of respect if he did.
