| Hull had to take a squad of 21 to France ,but Chris is on duel registration so providing Hull dont have a large list of injuries he will be back

| Anyway, I was reading somewhere that Grant Edwards is very close to making a comeback. He is a top player ... when might we have the pleasure of seeing him again?
We should have a really strong side to face Swinton, our best for many a week, can this be confirmed?

| Sorry, Whitehaven were nothing special just some big props and they supported the ball when they made a break. We looked sadly devoid of ideas going forward, lots of commitment which is good, but no one to take the game by the scruff of its neck and do something a little special.
Just looked at fixture list, I wont hold my breath for a victory on Monday, or possibly not until June!

| Rugby is a funny old game and if we get our best outfit out we can beat anybody ... except even then we don't, do we, especially away from home?
And I think Trotsky is right, much as it pains Carl.
I think we will lose against the likes of Swinton, Keighley at home and Workington away. It's all a bit predictable, which is the bit that cheeses folk off. Oh for a surprise or two.
Donny beat the sides that we expect to beat and lose to those that we expect to lose to, almost without exception. It's been that way for years.
I mean no offence by any of this ... it's just a fact.
The table doesn't lie.

| Talk on the terrace was that he had been dropped! If true, it was a ridiculous decision, he must have passed the ball too much in the Rochdale game!

| Ely always gives 100% and his enthisiasm is obvious and rubs off on others. With Fawcet missing he could have played in the half backs.

| I came away from the game reasonably satisified although i do think we could have taken 3 points from this one. I agree that we looked really small up front in comparison to the hulks Haven had on show, may be we should be looking at this. We missed a couple of tackles which ended up in long range tries. We did have a spell where we had a few sets on their line in the second half but to be honest didn't really look like scoring. A bit more flair going forward would have opened a few gaps in the strong defence and maybe we could have pipped this one. Overall i am not too dispondant, a good bonus point at one of our notorious black spots. I was pleased after the game that the players and staff we talked to were dissapointed that they didn't win, a good sign i think.
I was dissapointed (this is me being pc) with a number of the haven fans who were calling the ref a cheat on the occasions the calls went our way. Overall i thought the ref was probably one of the better ones we have seen this year. Lets not get too down following a couple of defeats, think about where we were this time last year!! I would like to see some more craft in attack and a little less one man rugby but i am happy with the progress to date. We have a few players who may be able to add something on their return, lets wait and see. Enjoy the fact that we have a team that on their day can not only compete but can beat the best in this league.

| And on a slightly different note ...
From the Free PressRyan Steen's last minute try was a mere consolation as Doncaster failed to pick up a losing bonus point.'"
Now anyone can make a mistake ... apart from smart-s like me ..but Steen aside (it was Robinson actually), a mere glimpse at the score would show to Paul Goodwin (the author/reporter) that he had made a howler.
