| Quote: weighman "Entertaining game , Rochdale were in the game early in the 2nd half. Some good forward displays from Cas , Dean & Craig Lawton. Cookie organised the show as usual .
China did some running down the touch line but Grant looked a bit stiff when he came on the pitch at the end.'"
the pass to hodson from cooke at the end was world class,as was his kick through in the first half was sublime,i genuinly feel guilty that we got him roll on next sunday , i should not be wishing my life away at my age but i want more.

| Another brilliant performance. Held on strongly to stop a rochdale comeback. Yet again strong consistent performances from deano, castle n kesik. Give 100% every week and game lufted when they came back on. Only downside was the defence down tom and lees sides which brought rochdale back into the game briefly. Good game from fawcett also hes definately earning his place in the team. Hope grant and china are ok!!

You are bang on there.
Waterman had a mare in defence. very worrying coupled with an impotent left side attack.
That aside, I thought the Dons were very resilient.
Fair play to Rochdale, they got within 6 points and it's a good job we scored next.
Which brings me back to my point about one score changing a game.

| Only saw the dying minutes of the first half, so can't really comment, but 26-4 speaks for itself, and the whole of the second. Looked a bit like complacency had set in for the first half of the second half. We were playing one man stuff , making little headway and our defence was a bit slack down the left. Credit to Rochdale; they were the best side I've seen down the Keepmoat this season and they moved the ball about well. I like the way all the team rallied around if an individual made an error and the reaction of that player to making the mistake. They are obviously perfectionists. We still managed to go over for 9 tries and racked up our 4th consecutive 40+ points haul at home. I actually thought Mike Emmett played well in the second half.
Note to self : Just because it's on the right when you're at Rochdale's end doesn't mean it's the right side of our defence. Simple mistake to make for a simpleton.

| Job done today. We have played, and will again play, a lot better than that but we still had more than enough to see them off. Both key momentum swings seemed to come of forward passes for me, but during their ascendancy we had few dodgy looking moments defensively.

| Sounds like a cracking game and a big well done from me for the result and the effort. At the start of this Season I think we all would have snatched someones arm of to beat Rochdale this year 80 -26 on aggregate.

Are you sure Moonlight?
How long since you did some maths?

| Anyway, well done the Dons.
I think we need to tighten up our defence.
We are playing like Brazil used to do at football.
It doesn't matter what the opposition score, we will score more.
That's very good to watch, but it's a bit sloppy.
Meanwhile Workington have conceded just 72 points.
And although we have outscored them, there is next to nowt in it in points difference.
Gateshead exploited our left flank a few games back and Rochdale did the same today. I am not quite sure why they couldn't do it at Spotland, but thank goodness they didn't.
There is a problem there that needs sorting.
Even in attack the left side looks a shadow of its former self.
These are mere details because the lads are winning in style, BUT we were too sloppy today and it nearly went pear shaped so we need to look at it.
PS
I thought Lawton had a great game and has been terrific since he came back. He's an unsung hero.
Did he get MOTM today?

| Yes think Lawton did get the MOTM, i also think Craig has been outstanding in defence and in attack.

| have to agree about the left side great in attack but vunerable in defence,1 of rochdales tries early in the 2nd half showed how the defense is on that side, hope it was just an of day.but its great to see us as an attacking team scoring from anywhere.and we are not a 1 man show its a 17 player performance roll on next sun.coyd.
