We have a bit of history with Mr Cobb and his inept performances.
To a man, the family stand thought they saw 2 certain and 1 possible knock ons in the build up to the last try. The try scorer was a good 3 yards offside at the kick too (admitted it himself in the clubhouse apparently).
Hardman could well be up before the beak as a result of him telling the ref what he thought of the decision, as will our Chief Exec, who was remonstrating with Mr Cobb outside the changing rooms.
Worst referee in the league from what we've seen, gave some very puzzling decisions for both teams today.
Anyhoo, well played Donny, a draw was probably a fair result, if not a slim Donny win. You're becoming a bogey team for us and we just cannot deal with Paul Cook's genius.

Where we were stood right in the corner we couldnt see the finer points of the try to be honest.It did look a bit messy up there but it just looked like panic football, trying to keep the ball alive. The only one I did get a decent clearish view of was Keziks disallowed try a few minutes before and I didnt think he got it down.
Hardman must have said something bad as the ref didnt waste anytime getting the card out.

Just finished watching this as I couldn't make the game and with regards to the refereeing what on earth are Featherstone going on about? Most calls seemed correct with a few iffy ones even going against us. Now I'm not as convinced as some on Kesik's try but I saw nothing wrong with Starlings and do not believe that Blackmore kept hold of the ball for his. Seems to be a case of don't like the result it must be the ref's fault. |

i watched it earlier today and completely agree with you Adam H. that last try was awesome and i cnt stop watching it. The ref was gonna give the Kesik try but the touch judge intervened. Starling was a definate. The commentator did my head in calling us the dragons and Rovers
