I'm a wire but devils advocate in this. Playing a superior opposition who will exploit all your weaknesses is probably a good thing. It might highlight areas that can be sharpened up for the push for the league, probably more beneficial for Cooke to see it on the sidelines and absorb it in.

Would agree Wire Yed, except the team put out isn't the team we have been putting out, so not sure it fully serves that purpose of seeing what is happening across the park.

I also think that when you have messages saying that we are going, not to win, but to represent then the after result is described as expected albeit the guys didn't run a lot of what was agreed - just a bit confusing.

Nobody is a bigger fan of Cooke than me, and I trust him 100% and he doesn't come to my work telling me I'm doing it wrong, so I get that, but just feel a bit for the fans that went and those looking to start following us again based on season so far- result just looks a bit ridiculous. Hunslet faired better at Wigan.

Perhaps my real issue is that I don't see what purpose the Cup serves anymore.

I think Warrington had a point to prove after their defeat to Cas . Well they proved a point today with a clinical performance . Chris Bridge was awesome .
We did bomb a clear cut chance & had a foot in touch when we got over the line !

Today just showed up the difference between SL & Championship rugby.

I know PC left some players out but I trust his judgement .
I am a little concerned about Shaun Leaf he does get injured a lot !

Robbo worked hard & was on for a lot of minutes ! I donot think Russ Spiers did a second spell.
We were disrupted again by injuries to centres Welham then Leaf . Liam did return .

I wouldn't have said wilkinson ! League weekly was more of a fair representation of the players that played well.
