There's some nice American beer about lately. High Sierra Stout is a good one, and Brooklyn Brown Ale is also nice.

| Yorkshire Terrier Public House, Stonegate, York.
Yorkshire Terrier - A premium bitter with a rich, creamy malt and full hop palate finish (from the York Brewery).
Good Pub (always visit when in York) - nice drink!

| That's if you can get into the Yorkshire Terrier. My front from is nearly bigger than the Yorkshire Terrier. Mind you the York Brewery isn't that big itself.

Now you're talking! John Smith's Tasteless, sorry Smooth, is beer for the lager drinker, no more no less ; cold, pasteurised and dead. Yorkshire Terrier on the other hand is a well-rounded premium bitter. Good arrer!

Try the Three Legged Mare in that case, or the Wonky Donkey to the locals Excellent beers and well kept.
