| Due respect to both sides for playing in this heat it must have been brutal at times.

| result shows "where we are" as a club we can only beat the teams below us in the league, Im praying that our new signing can improve the team and try and beat the teams above us. with more difficult games ahead we have to improve we will soon be out of touch.

| Difficult match to sum up. I didn't see the first 10mins so missed the fight. I thought you hung in there and the York drop goal showed we knew it would be a tough game. On the other hand, while you hung in there up till the last few mins, you lacked a bit of experience and flair so never really looked like winning - think there was only a couple of minutes in the 2nd half where I thought you might just nick it. In fact maybe experience is the wrong word, more like leadership. Ryan Boyle could be a solid no frills forward at this level but he's not a leader.
Your new signing from Keighley looked good.
Did the scoreline flatter York? Again difficult to say, we had 4 trys ruled out and I thought 2 of them should have stood. Maybe a 12 point victory would've been a fairer reflection.
Lastly, good turnout, the crowd was 1311 of which I reckon 175-200 from Doncaster.

| Quote: Wanderer "No lack of endeavour today, just beaten by a slightly better side.
A wonderful play between Beharrell and Howden to get us back to 19-16 but York always looked likely to get the points although the final score does flatter them to some degree.'"
The old scoreline flattered them quote appears again for the 4th or 5th time this season, I was only 6 balls away from being a millionaire on the lottery this weekend.

I imagine its frustrating, you're not far off, some handy players and one of the better supported sides in the division. Maybe with Bradford and (hopefully) York out of the way next season you'll be able to regroup and have a better shot.
One more thing, Tali needs more ball, still think he's your most dangerous attacking player.

Not from me, you can check but I suspect you'll find it's the first time I've used the phrase this season.

| Could not give a toss if we aren't far off ... we lost like we always do when push comes to shove!
What's to talk about ... apart from why Spiers got embroiled.
Disgusting!
We need to get our arssssse in gear and win at Hunslet after the 'farce of Fev' game.
If we can't do the Hunslet game proper justice then I suggest someone turn out the lights please.

I read it differently since my post is directly quoted.

It's certainly winnable, but then I expected us to win the home fixture.

| We were competitive in most areas of the game yesterday with a few silly errors costing us dear.
With ten minutes to go we needed to chase the game and ultimately conceded two tries from poor play options with ball in hand , this made the score unreflecting of the game.
We have now played the two promotion favourites home and away , and now must get results from our remaining fixtures if we are to qualify for the play offs.
York are a class outfit and will push the Bulls all the way to be champions, we must now concentrate on beating the likes of Hunslet ,Oldham, Newcastle to realise the playoffs, its a tough ask but with most other teams having to travel to York and Odsal we could sneak in though the back door and make the five.
