Well that went well.

A fantastic season comes to an end, a shame the final game was spoilt by the officials who seemed extremely happy with their afternoons work at full time. I was expecting a tough encounter and one I wasn't confident of us winning due to injuries to key players.

I am seriously considering not attending another game after today due to the actions of the officials, although I am sure I will after a winter of Sunday afternoons with not a lot to do.

Well done to the Dons players and staff for a wonderful season and some great Sunday afternoons out, the win away at workington early in the season was one I remember well and predicted a top 4 finish on the way home, the draw away at fev and the win against leigh were other great days.

At least we battled on to the end.

Disappointing end to a good season.

Sad the season is over but we were running on empty today.

There was no lack of effort from the guys. They did their best in difficult circumstances.

Good to see the applause and cheering from the Dons' fans after the final whistle, and the players acknowledging the fans.

Well done to everyone at the club.

The job of maintaining/improving on this season now begins. Maybe we'll get some news of more new signings in the next week or so?

Great effort to finish 4th, well done to cookey and his team, shame we ran out of steam in the last 3 games, injuries certainly haven't helped.

I don't often criticise players nowadays, seriously I don't, but I don't really care what incensed Cunningham and obviously something did, but to kick out and then punch meant HE LET HIS TEAM DOWN and consigned them to an afternoon of turmoil.
The game was thrown away at that point.
