Not a lot to say about yesterday that isn't obvious from the scoreline to be honest. Other than I seriously believe the team tried their best and there was no shortage of commitment, they were just better than us pretty much all over the field.

Fair assessment Jemmo , I couldn't make it due to other commitments but watched the live feed.
No lack of effort , just not up to the standard of the league leaders.

Looks like GT has got Hunselt on a roll with a very good win against Oldham.

I think with our remaining games the result against Hunslet will be our make or break fixture.
A win for Hunslet would surely finish our play off aspirations and condem us to being the best team of the leagues also- rans.

However there is still plenty of rugby to play, with plenty of twists and turns along the way.

We generally lose at Hunslet and now with the reward of doing the double against the club that expected him to get promoted on sawdust shavings and old washers then gave him the bullet after a couple of crap results ...
A no-brainer.

Our coaches are on to a hiding to nothing irrespective of their ability ... he certainly had a better track record than our current incumbent.

I dont mean to be disrespectful to any of the players , but 95% of them would not get a shirt with any of the teams currently above us.

With all the hype at the beginning of the season about having a squad that would be competitive, I feel the club have really sold the fans down the river with what has been served up this year so far.
The club in my mind would have been better served being honest about our expectations and not hyping the side up to be something they are not.

The DR agreement with Hull ,which was supposed to service us with Super League quality players to supplement our small squad has been laughable with only one side benefitting from the deal.

Now with no Wilkinson, no Cross ,no Mariano and no hope we face the humiliation of finishing in the lower half of the bottom tier of professional rugby.
But aaaaarrrrh well you known our owners would be the richest in the whole of rugby league if they didn't have an incompetent throwing their money down the pan , promising the earth and delivering mediocrity at best.

I would be very surprised to see the likes of Tali hanging around next season, after his performance against Fev in the cup he would easily hold his own in the Championship and possibly Super League.

Lastly reading the league express and Zac Braham was the game star in Hunslets win over Oldham.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The folk on that facebook page are just blinded with delusion it makes me really cringe! the players train hard, travel a long way and have to work also so should be exempt from criticism WTF? so do the rest of the 8 teams above us (bar Bradford)! the carl hall foot soldiers on facebook are holding us back as much as the clueless fools who are running us.

I don't think we are alone ... I think Keighley are very similar to us in underachieving.

Also it is funny that York get DR players from little old HKR and we get DR from Hull's bigger brother and we are not doing as well.
