It's Halifax - every chance you'll be right about us being outnumbered!

However, following our last home game the Club's Chief Executive Dave Marshall issued this statement ...
"I’m absolutely delighted with the response we had from the Doncaster community. We asked them to back the club and they’ve done just that. This is a significant increase on the crowds we have had at the Keepmoat this season and it bodes well for the future".
Doesn't add up really.

| And again no one from the club has tried to quash any comments or let us know whats happening, another way that the club is going to interact with the fans better than previous years, well that seems to have gone also.

| If Kyle didnt want to go, and TM didnt want him to go either then why has he gone?
Im only asking this because im not taking the 'gone because of the budget' excuse. If we have problems with this years budget all of a sudden how come last week we signed Wayne Opie till the end of the season?
Was the money there last week and now it isnt?
Its also got to be the major concern that we still have loads of key players out (Benno,Lawton,Leafey etc) and we can let one of our main playmakers leave.Im worried as the next few games are key for us.

| As I understand it, Briggs has been fancied a crack at Fev for a while now!
I might be wrong like, you know how words get around!!

Featherstone (away)
Halifax (home)
Whitehaven (away)
Tricky fixtures indeed.

| Quote: SteveRoebuck "Maybe its the coaching methods and lack of attractive flowing rugby that has cause him to leave.
Sooner we are in the market for a coach who can cultivate attractive free flowing rugby the better.
Weren't we supposed to be on a even financial keel, so there should have been no financial reason to let him go.
You dont give away your better players to your divisional rivals its madness especially when we dont have anyone to replace him with.
I suspect it wont be long till Handforth goes to.'"
Quite agree with the coaching comment, I would rather see us lose and look like we have some form of attacking line, rather than the backs stood in a bunch looking like they ve never met before.
I remember speaking to Kyle last year and he was really up for staying with the club.
However it seemed a bit dodgy after the Widnes game when Dave Marshall said he was concerned that Kyle did nt play because it sounded like he was fed up at the club. It was later said that he had been ill! I suppose we ll have to see I long before he plays for Fev.
It is noticeable that a lot of these players who have left have previously been in Super League academies and have been used to better coaching than they have been receiving lately.

| it seems we have just two options from here:
1 sign another number 6 for no fee
2 kick weeden up the back side and make him take the pressure off handforth

| Well..... letting him go would indicate we have no options.
And as for Weeden.....I hate think what the side would be like without him......kick up the backside or not.

Maybe at the time Wayne Opie was signed it was already known that Kyle was leaving the club.

1) Can't see us getting anyone capable of doing a job at this level if we have financial problems.
2) He simply isn't a 6. A fair 13 particularly at the lower level last season but at Championshop level probably only on a par with many second-rowers.

Sounds like a very distinct possibility.
