Yes a good win today. Very good defence. What won us the game was the first 20 minutes. However I was concerned by the way we dropped off in the second half. Looked some veey tired players.

Indeed on both counts ... commented during the game that crowds of that level have to be a major concern.

Game was won , dropped off a bit but did enough to keep what looked a disinterested Barrow at bay. agree on attendance

League weekly this morning seem to suggest it was a balanced affair...

With the odd exception of a couple of nice moves from Barrow, the game was completely bossed by the Dons.

More physical and more organised.

Match rating was only 2/5.....plus they also said it was Butts that broke for first try not Kelly.

Every player was fired up and when a mistake was made it was quickly made up for..

Back to firing each other up etc...

It appears that many of the lads have been to the Edwards / Kez school of tackling over last 2 weeks.

The first try alone was worth the entry fee.

A match rating of 2/5 seemed rather harsh.

I suppose from the point of view of a neutral the game lost quite a lot of interest when the Dons went so far in front early on.

Grant Edwards tackling is nothing short of brilliant. He knows the big guys can't run when he takes their legs away!

I thought Stu Sanderson epitomized the effort put in by the team. He's never going to be the biggest or the fastest but he's certainly a very good lad to have on your team.

I thought it was an enjoyable game to watch and quite easy on the skipping heartbeats as the Dons always seemed destined to win.

Kes and grants attitude to defence really gets the team fired up. Some of Kyles big hits were sensational. Barrow never looked like scoring again we always had them on back foot. Good team performance yet again!

well done to you guys, I listened on the radio but missed the 1st few minutes and we were already 12-0 down..guess we left any gameplan and defence on the team bus lol.

Poor poor crowd, seems a shame with such a superb stadium ?

The crowd issue has sparked some good debate on another thread. It is a big concern to us.

I thought your boys tried hard after going so far behind initially but it seemed like one of those days where little things went wrong for you on a number of occasions and you couldn't quite get your A game going.
