Just as some optimism and enthusiasm was returning they go and resign a player on who can't break the line or even run ten yards. Nothing against the player personally but his best days are long gone and it shows yet another flaw in Horne's judgement.After this I can see a slowing down of season ticket sales unless a couple of marquee signings are in the pipeline.

Well I am not buying one ...our coach is the best coach in the division and this signing has beaten off the clamber from other clubs for said player's signature and I am buzzing.

Most SL clubs are back in pre season this week ,so I would think most of our signings will be announced over the next fortnight as we cant be far off a return to training ourselves if we have three or four friendlies early next year.

Will be interesting to see if anymore surprises await.

Richard Horne only wants one or two friendlies.

Hope there is 1 v Sheffield , should give us more of an idea where we are with the preparation for 2020.

Makes sense really given the drubbings we received last year and the injuries sustained.

Sheffield would be a good one and someone like Fev for the second , they would give us a gauge on the strength of our squad going in to the season.
