Wray is a scrum half, hull lad but played most of junior rugby at Leeds.
Silk is a backrower, played a couple of games at a York including in the win against Toronto
Bower is a centre, has been on loan at Hemel.

| After what has been said in recent weeks about the failings (individual and collective) of our squad it is interesting to see how many of them are being included in various retained lists. As to Kesick and his pace or lack of it I don't see a hooker as being somebody who is expected to make a 30 yard break and outpace the opposition. Rather I see him as somebody who is quick-thinking and able to sniff out opportunities around the try line. In that respect I think Kyle Kesick fits the bill. He is also fearless.

Well obviously some of them are half decent, even critics can see that.
On the flip side we are saying around half of them are for whatever reason not good enough.
But feel free to carry on your nebulous Dons crusade.
And by nebulous I mean it is insufficient to say that the Dons need to learn from mistakes and get to the required standard, to quote a couple of your offerings.
The question is HOW?

Well for a start I don't live in the clouds but in the real world unlike, it seems, some of those who contribute to this forum. Secondly I don't think I have said anything about required standards. I have posted at length about cutting out unforced errors and indiscipline and the only people who can do anything about that are the players themselves.

| Page 4.
These are wishes that you mention.
But how do you achieve them?
You want errors/indiscipline to be reduced to the minimum.
Yeah, we all do.
Yet you somehow think that when the team cross the whitewash the coach's wise words have little effect, as it is up to the players and there is little he can do.
Really?
He can't have a word?
He can't send the water carrier on with a specific message?
He can't shout from the touchline?
How in training in practical terms, apart from telling them, can he alter the ethos?
It's easy to say he needs to.
I would say he needs to work on the technique of the main culprits and their mindset individually.
Take Hedges ... I wish somebody would .... he has had two episodes of shoddy tackling leading to large bans. Horne could look to improve Hedges' tackling technique.
And then again he could do nothing.
Certain people say that in football 'you can't practice penalties ... there is little point'.
These are usually losers ... since you can and should practise everything connected with penalties.

Unless we’re actually at training, we have no idea what the coach and players work on. Saying that, I haven’t noticed the same poor tackling techniques in Jordie Hedges recently. Maybe they have worked on it?
Have you thought about going down to a training session to offer your words of advice to Richard Horne?
